This past weekend the Johns Race team traveled to Duck River Raceway Park to compete in the Woods & Marlin Memorial Race. Friday started out on a high note qualified 3rd in his group and started 5th in the feature only to cut down a tire and finish 18th. Saturday the c6 car hit the track and qualified 1st in group one and started the feature on the pole and never looked back securing a win that’s been a long time coming. Johns racing debuted the new Longhorn at this past weekend’s Deep Fried 75 event held at Duck River Raceway park. With the help of Tyler Breashears of TB Performance Oakley and the C6 car put on a pretty solid performance coming in 4th place in Fridays show and 8th in Saturdays. We commemorated the Fourth of July at Duck River Raceway Park by participating in their Independence Day Special event, where our starting position of 9th in the feature race culminated in a 4th place finish.
