Weekend Recap - May 30th, 2026. The boys competed at Thunderhill Raceway in Summertown, Tennessee, where Oakley Johns qualified 11th and finished 6th in the Super Late Model feature event. Donald Johns finished 4th in his heat race and had a strong start in the Modified Sportsman feature, but his night was cut short due to a multi-car incident. How about a round of applause for Oakley Johns ( Johns Racing ) moving up 12 spots tonight at Duck River Raceway Park🦆 from 17th to 5th in the 40 Lap Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series ! Oakley was definitely on the move! Congrats to him and his team on the ! 🫡👏👀💯

Definitely not how we wanted our night to end, but as that old saying goes, 'Sometimes you're the windshield and sometimes you're the bug.' Well, we were the bug last night. Luckily, we didn't suffer too much damage, and we'll be at Duck River Raceway Park, hoping for a better turnout tonight. If you can't make the trip, you can watch live on Arrow Vision.

Our race page has been a little quiet for the last few months between starting a new business, “Johns Performance Parts”, and moving our race shop to its new home. It’s safe to say it’s been a little busy, but we are settled in and are excited to see what this new race season brings us. As we count down the final hours of 2025 and reflect on the incredible journey that has been this past year, one word resonates deeply within us: gratitude. Our racing season was a testament to perseverance, marked by long nights, trial and error, and invaluable lessons learned; and somehow, we survived because of the unwavering support and partnership of truly amazing individuals and organizations.
