Victims report being treated like suspects. Being interviewed in the interrogation rooms adds to that feeling. All departments should follow Casper PD and many others who have taken the leap to treat victims appropriately.

The Casper Police Department unveiled a new interview room Tuesday aimed at providing a safe interview space for survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence.

Sexual assault in general is under-reported. Campus sexual assault is not only under-reported, but ignored. Anything that reduces the administrative enforcement of sexual assault should not be implemented.

Education Secretary Betsy DeVos said Thursday that the Trump administration believes Obama-era guidance regarding sexual assault on college campuses denied due process against accused perpetrators and is planning to overturn those guidelines.

When people are committed to doing what is right, and the victim is strong enough to defy the system, we get justice. We must change the system to believe the victims and support those in the system who are fighting for what is right.

No one believed he would r**e nursing home residents. Now he's going to prison.
