Hello MMA Students, June News Letter: Apologies, but there were some incorrect class times on the June schedule last week. It's correct now. Tuesday/Thursday we have classes at 5pm (Kids 5-7yrs), 6pm (Youth 8-12yrs), and 7pm (Teen/Adult). Wednesday we have classes at 5pm and 6pm (Open 5yrs+). Enjoy training with three excellent black belts, Grayson, Warren, and Josh O'Nan, while I'm away! Congrats to our newest black belt promotions this year: Kevin Odom, Josh O'Nan and Jack Calvert. They've trained hard to earn the rank! While school's out, students may wear any MMA tshirt to class instead of their uniform top. MMA Students, May Classes and Events (testings, game nights, and talent shows/practices) are now posted in ZenPlanner. Go to meeksmartialarts.com or use the ZenPlanner Member app to reserve your spot in Classes or Events. Let me know if you see any errorz. Since I've dropped everyone's membership for this month, you have 3 options if you wish to attend: Reserve drop-in classes anytime without a membership ($18 per) OR select a new membership OR I can reactivate your previous membership (for the latter, text me at 270-826-5425). We will also have classes in June/July with assistant instructors. I'll post that schedule later this week. I hope to see everyone! Even if you stop by just to say hello. 🙂. -Mr. Meeks

MMA students, you may have noticed your membership is on "hold" until June and there are no classes currently scheduled this month. May classes will be drop-ins. That means each student who wishes to attend a class will register/pay for each class individually. There will be no regular tuition withdraw this month. I'll post the new May schedule soon to include classes, game nights and testings, then message everyone again when it's up. No classes Monday or Tuesday this week. Talent show practice/performance will stay unchanged. Stay tuned for more and thank you in advance for understanding. -Mr. Meeks

MMA Students,

TESTINGS: We have testings the last week of each month. We will have testings at 7:15pm M-Th and 1:15pm Th this week for students with permission to test (silver tape). If those times do not work for you, please let me know.

TALENT SHOW PRACTICE: We will have practice for talent show participants Wednesday and Thursday at 3:00-3:30pm this week and next week. Attend at least one practice. If you can attend with your group, that's ideal, but come when you can if not. If you can't make any, let me know.

MMA Students, we hold testings the last week of each month for silver taped students only. Upcoming Testings: 3/25 (full), 3/26 (1:15pm), 3/28 (11am full, 12:30pm), and 3/30 (7:15pm). Upcoming Game Nights: Teen/Adult Game Night 3/27 (5-9pm) at FEC Newburgh and 8yrs+ 3/28 at MMA (5-8pm). MMA Students, Game Night for 5yrs and up on Friday 5-8pm. Testing Saturday 11am (12 classes, silver and gold tape required as always). Family and friends welcome. MMA Students, we have a few openings left for Game Night (5yrs+) tonight 5-8pm. Testing this Saturday at 11am (2 spots left) for those eligible. MMA Students, my testing went well Saturday. Thank you for all the well wishes. A reminder to our new students, if HC schools close for weather, we close as well. So no classes tonight. In the event we have classes tomorrow, I've moved the Wednesday 3:30 Little Ninjas and Thursday 12:30pm classes to Tuesday as I'll be gone Wednesday/Thursday this week and Monday next week. The Monday class times have been adjusted as well. We'll have classes this Wednesday/Thursday/Monday with Mr. Odom and Mr. O'Nan. I'll be adding some additional classes times and testing dates soon too. I'll text again when posted. MMA Students,

Just a reminder, if HC schools cancel for weather, we also cancel classes for the day.

I realize January has been a short month and you may not have gotten all of your classes in. ZenPlanners gives everyone a fresh set of classes on the 1st of each month. Unused classes from the prior month go away. However, if you contact me and let me know what class(es) you'd like to use as make-ups, I can schedule them for you. Additionally, we will have some extra classes in the coming months.

Finally, I am testing for 7th degree this Saturday in Mr. Juliet, TN. I know it's short notice and a long drive, but anyone is welcome to come! The testing starts at 10:30am. Be safe and have a great day!
