What a weekend at Avondale!

The 2026 Fall Classic brought together a great field for a weekend full of fun. From the opening round to the Horse Race and the final putts, it was another great showcase of what makes events at Avondale so special.

A huge thank you to all of our players for making the weekend such a success, and to our incredible staff for all the work behind the scenes!

We also want to give a special thank you to Gayle Foote for everything she did to help make this year’s Fall Classic such a great event. We appreciate all of the time, effort, and energy you put into making the weekend special for everyone!

🇺🇸 We Will Never Forget — September 11, 2001

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to honor the first responders, service members, families, and countless Americans whose lives were forever changed.

As a tribute, the American flag will fly on the flagsticks of holes #9 and #11 at Avondale today. We ask golfers to please use the provided flag holders while putting so that our flag is treated with the respect it deserves.

May we never forget the courage, sacrifice, and unity shown on that day and in the days that followed.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

⛳ Thank a Golf Course Superintendent Day!

Today, we’re proud to recognize Brandon Bubar, Golf Course Superintendent, and the entire Avondale Grounds Team for the incredible work they put into our golf course every single day.

The conditions our members and guests enjoy don’t happen by accident. They come from early mornings, long days, attention to detail, and a team that takes tremendous pride in their work.

Brandon’s leadership and the dedication of his team continue to elevate Avondale, and we couldn’t be more appreciative of everything they do behind the scenes.
