Last week, I had the opportunity to spend time in California đŸ„â˜€ïžvisiting my brother. As a business owner, stepping away for a week isn’t always easy, but this trip reminded me just how blessed I amđŸ„č.

While I was gone, the coaches at Fitness Escape stepped up in every way imaginable. They handled day-to-day operations, coached classes, supported our members, and made sure everything continued running smoothly. Most importantly, they cared for our gym and our community as if it were their own.

One of the greatest signs of a healthy business isn’t how well it runs when the owner is present
 it’s how well it runs when they’re away. Strong businesses are built by strong people, and I am incredibly grateful for Lisa, Christy, Melissa, Cody, Emma, Brenda and Kevin. Their dedication, professionalism, and heart are what make Fitness Escape so special.

Deadline for registration is Tuesday, May 26!!!

Not every kid needs to be chasing a scholarship to benefit from training.
Some just need a place to move, build confidence, and stay active this summer—and that’s exactly what this is.

Whether your child is an athlete looking to improve performance OR just needs structure, activity, and a positive environment
this camp delivers both.

At Fitness Escape, we focus on strength, speed, coordination, and overall fitness—while also building confidence, discipline, and healthy habits that carry outside the gym.

‱ Take iron on an empty stomach for best absorption

Aging Gracefully đŸ€© Takes Work!

Last week I had the privilege of training one of my clients, Amanda, alongside her Aunt Linda who was in town visiting for graduation week
.and I’m still thinking about it.

Linda turns 79 in July
 and let me tell you, she showed up ready to WORK. đŸ’Ș

We lifted weights, used suspension TRX training , worked band, even did some cardio on the rower, and had a lot of fun doing it. But what stood out most wasn’t just how well she moved
 it was why.

For the past 15 years, Linda has committed to taking care of her body, strength training twice a week, yoga twice a week, and staying active with things like golfâ›łïž. Not perfectly her whole life, but consistently where it counts.

Her reason?
She didn’t want to age into feeling fragile. She wanted to stay strong, pick up her feet, move confidently, and not live in fear of falling.

And that’s exactly what she’s built.
