MONDAY NIGHT GOLF LEAUGE RESULTS JUNE 15TH 2026
Tom Willock Reporting:
It was a contest for the ages on the fairways of Olde Point last eve, where the legend of Gary Cederman grew tenfold at the Monday Night Scramble.
The final act unfolded upon the treacherous sands abutting the eleventh green, finding themselves marooned and facing their third stroke.
Siegel and Riggs, cool as cucumbers, lofted their spheres to the putting surface, setting the stage for a scorecard playoff that seemed all but inevitable.
Yet it was then, as the shadows lengthened and all hope appeared lost, that Cederman—undaunted—consulted his trusty measuring device, surveyed the 11.33 yards ahead, and with a swing worthy of the finest in sporting annals, sent his ball bounding from the bunker.
The sphere trickled, hesitated, and, with the gallery holding its collective breath, toppled into the cup on its final revolution.
One mere stroke adrift trailed the gallant squads of Neal, Wiggs, and Gainey, not to mention the doughty Lang Gang.
The Langs, alas, saw their hopes of victory dashed with a fateful bogey at their closing hole, yet rallied stoutly across the preceding links to seize the scorecard playoff by a margin of two, thus securing second place.
