Baseball is a great game—and for many players, the love for it starts young. Ours did.

We grew up playing every chance we got with neighborhood kids, building our own fields and learning simply by playing. No coaches. No travel teams. Just baseball, repetition, and a whole lot of fun. Those endless hours are what made us better—and they’re what kids still need today.

Times have changed, and consistent practice is harder to come by. Hitting, throwing, and catching take repetition, instruction, and confidence.

That’s why we’re excited to offer our Spring Break Baseball Camp—five straight days of focused skill development for players ages 8–12. Think spring training, just like the pros.

***No April Fool’s Joke!
****Hayner’s announces opening of Steep’d Coffee House!

Who: Craig and Carolyn Hayner, Jeremy Herrey and James Dowen

What: The opening of Steep’d Coffee House at Hayner’s!

Where: Hayner’s Ice Cream and Country Store, 148 Route 236, Halfmoon, NY 12065

When: Soft Opening, Monday April 6th 7am to 3pm

Craig and Carolyn Hayner, owners of Hayner Farm Stand and Old-Fashioned Country Store, LLC (AKA Hayner’s Ice Cream and Country store) are pleased announce the opening of Steep’d Coffee House @ Hayner’s this Monday, April 6th at 7am.

The highly anticipated opening announced in January this year will bring together a combination of past, present and new menu highlights. Featuring an extensive line of coffee, tea and lattes. A wholesome breakfast and lunch menu, mouthwatering pastries, homemade soups and more.

“We are excited to be teaming up with Jeremy Herrey and James Dowen to offer a full-service, year-round café experience. Jeremy and James bring creative energy, culinary expertise and the necessary foodservice experience to bring this exciting collaboration to fruition. We believe customers will be thrilled to enjoy a delicious breakfast sandwich or a pastry and coffee in our dining room, on the go, or outside against the beautiful backdrop of the Hayner Farm. People have asked us over the years, when are you bringing this back? We are excited to see this concept come full circle from where it all began twenty-eight years ago, plus more!” said Carolyn Hayner.

“When we first opened our doors in 1998, building off my dad’s farmstand business, we were blessed to have the opportunity to create a restaurant café business right here on the Hayner farm where I grew up. Over the years, as food service trends and demographics have changed in our area (especially with the addition of the town park next door), we adjusted our business plan accordingly. Often making hard decisions to change our menu offerings to meet demand for our most popular products due to our limited space. Last year, with the expansion of our building to create a dedicated area for ice cream, we can continue bringing back some of our most popular menu concepts of the past along with exciting new modern twists for today.” said Craig Hayner.

“Our motto is “made with love and excellence,” said Jeremy Herrey, who along with James Dowen will operate the day-to-day business operations of Steep’d Coffehouse @ Hayner’s. “We love our community and are excited for this opportunity to partner with Carolyn and Craig, who have established an incredible following over the years. Not only will we continue their legacy of serving quality products with great service, but we will extend them as well. Our beverage section will feature past favorites such as Snickerdoodle coffee, but also include an extensive variety of coffees, espresso drinks, lattes and more. There will be 14 crafted teas along with several matcha options made with premium Jade leaf Matcha. Our authentic masala chai latte will be made from scratch with fresh spices and fine tea. We will offer an array of wholesome food items like breakfast sandwiches on freshly baked breads, French Toast using Madagascar vanilla and real maple syrup, several panini, sandwich and salad options, along with homemade quiches, soups, scones and more. All products will be made with fresh quality ingredients with many gluten free and vegan options as well”.

The soft opening for Steep’d Coffee House will be Monday, April 6th from 7am to 3pm. Business hours for April will be 7am to 3pm daily, closed Tuesdays.

May hours, beginning Friday May 1st (Opening Day for Hayner’s Ice Cream)
Steep’d Coffee House - open daily, 7 days a week from 7am to 8pm.
Hayner’s Ice Cream – open daily, 7 days a week from 12 noon to 9pm.
The Hayner Farm Stand will open around mid-July (crop dependent) featuring our Hayner Farm grown sweetcorn and more.

“We look forward to seeing everyone soon as we celebrate our 28th year in business! Thank you to all our wonderful customers, employees (past and present), suppliers and all who have made this dream a reality over the years. Especially our parents, Harvey and Carol Hayner, who always believed in and supported our efforts. We love our hometown of Halfmoon and all our surrounding communities” said Craig and Carolyn Hayner.
