Tryout registration is live for the Halfmoon Lightning Storm 12U 2026/2027 season. We are looking for dedicated 2nd-year 12U or strong 1st-year players focused on development, sportsmanship, and competition.

Tryout will take place on July 21st at 5:30 PM (12 Woodin Rd, Halfmoon)

What a weekend for Lightning! These girls proved that you can never count them out. 🥎

After a rocky start on Saturday left them seeded 8th, they came into Sunday ready to fight. They started the day with a big win against the 9th seed and then dug deep to play with incredible heart, eliminating the #1 seed and a long-time rival Saratoga Thunder! It was a massive victory that showed just how talented this team is. 🩵

While we fell just short in a tough semifinal game to the team that would go on to win it all, we couldn't be prouder of the grit and potential we saw this weekend.
Now we get two quiet weeks to rest up and practice before the last few fall tourneys. Great things are coming for this team! Let's go, Lightning! ⚡️

Huge thank you to Lakes Edge Photography & Design for these amazing photos of Halfmoon Lightning Storm this past weekend at the Miss Scotties Softball Summer Sizzler. ☀️

Halfmoon Lightning ended their 2024/2025 season with a nail-biter vs. the Glens Falls Titans and just came up short. These girls had a remarkable season and have plenty to be proud of! 😁

Some will move up to 12U in Halfmoon Girls Softball, and some will move on to something new, but they will all continue playing and getting better every day! 🙌
