I’m really proud of these Albany organizations receiving money through Governor Kathy Hochul's Project RISE (Respond, Invest, Sustain, Empower) initiative to support community-based programs and services that prevent violence, boost youth development, and expand opportunities for young people.

Albany is one of 10 municipalities chosen for this investment, which will strengthen violence prevention, mentoring, job training, mental health supports, and other youth-centered services, tailored to local needs. This investment aims to help keep young people out of the justice system, strengthen families, and build safer, stronger communities across the state.
