Onto new beginnings and time to take my box home. Today was my last work day for NOP, tomorrow I get my box. Was a pleasure to work with all my Nissan of Portland crew. It’s a crazy September already. Middle of elk season switching jobs was not on my bingo card. But I’m excited, I’m nervous and hopefully with new changes brings new luck. Cuz I need it for elk season haha. Been working for the Nissan brand between 3 dealerships overall for I believe 15 almost 16 years. So it’s a big step for me. But like I said I’m excited to see what the future brings.

Another slow quiet weekend. We did have some action yesterday morning which you will see later on. But no bulls down. Such an odd year for us. But a short work week then I’ll be back out with the gang for 10 days. Can’t wait for the rut to kick off.

So far this season has started slow, but I have hopes things will pick up. Bout to head back up the mountains to see what I can dig up. Good luck again to everyone. Sounds like Bradley Joyce will join me a little later this weekend. If the rain holds off enough I think it could be a great weekend.

Tomorrow is opening day here in Oregon. I’m pumped to be back out try my hand at filling my tag, getting a bull in for Bradley Joyce and hearing our first bugle. Coming into the season at 227lbs feels good. Good luck to everyone this weekend, this season and have fun. Most importantly be safe.

A bull long gone by now but still cool. And latest body pics. It’s hard to tell to be honest in the pics that I have changed or lost any weight. I am back up to 230lb as of Friday almost on the dot. I think that’s due to adding creatine and doing more weights. But my arms are bigger, I have more definition even though you can’t see. My legs have gotten tone and muscles are noticeably bigger and overall I feel much stronger. My cardio has increased my strength and I’m so stoked to get in the mountains and put a bull down. I think I have more determination than ever with being the most unprepared as ever lol.

Good luck to everyone this year, if I bump into you this year say hi. I love chatting with fellow hunters and shooting the s**t.

I can find elk all time outside of the season lol. Yesterday was fun. We seen this herd and then another up at ft Steven’s earlier in the day. Pup did well by not barking or making much noise at them although we were in the car lol. Christine Batzlaff

Sent a few rounds to get some more time behind the gun. This was right at 400 yards. Not too bad. Had a good left to right wind but managed.
