Goin to use this post to be vulnerable, but also to hold myself accountable.
241.4lbs as of 9pm today, last year I got in the gym late in the year but managed to get down to 228lbs before September. Going into elk season I thought it was enough to make it easier…. It wasn’t. Last September was a battle for me mentally and physically and it hit me hard.
Long story short here I am, not here to ask for anything other maybe some words of encouragement.
The goal - get down to 210lbs by September. Beyond September I’d like to get to 180 maybe 175.
I want to do it my way, I want to earn it.
It’s a late start in the year again but I’m motivated. I’m done being fat. I want to be happy about my physical fitness, for my wife, my future kids, my friends / family and myself.
Ironically something my manager said in a meeting last week kind of hit me. He said “ if you going to do anything be 1% better than you were yesterday “ or something like that.
So I’m trying to reset my mindset to first and foremost be more positive everyday, as says alot. Just be positive, work on being a better person.
That’s the goal 1% better everyday - 210lbs by September - 180lbs by December. It’s gonna be hard but let’s do it.
