Shout out to another one of our Varsity Athletes, Rhyder Marquez. The freshman found the back of the net twice tonight for James Buchanan and has scored all three of the Rockets goals so far this season! Rhyder is also on the Varsity Cross Country team for JB!

Hi everyone.

My name is Dustin Wise and I'm the Owner/Director of Teqniq Academy. I began coaching soccer in 2008, but unofficially in 2006, so 20 years ago. I say unofficially because fall 2006 was my senior season of high school, but I got injured, missed a few games, and began helping out my coaching staff during practices while unable to play.

In 2008, I officially became the Assistant. In 2009 I became a volunteer GK coach for a local D3 college. Since then, I've been involved in soccer at all most every level of the game and have held numerous positions and titles. Youth club President, professional team Vice President, Nationally Ranked Collegiate Head Coach, the list goes on.

But when I stepped away from coaching the college game following the 2024 season to solely focus on improving the talent in my hometown area, I finally realized my true love and passion for this sport.

Working with players from ages 2 - College students isn't a small age gap but the sessions have to be dialed in for every single group. That's why it excites me just as much when I see a 3 year old fall in love with soccer for the first time as I do hearing that one of my varsity players scored a goal or received a college offer.

Over the years I've had the privilege of seeing multiple players I've coached go on and play at a higher level, some have even represented their country in some capacity. One is currently playing overseas in England. Some have played NCAA DI, DII, and DIII. Some are still just 6 years old, loving the game of soccer and inspired by what it has to offer.

Thats why we're here and why Teqniq Academy exists.
