DRIVER SPOTLIGHT

Lex Hamerski has decided to spend the year testing his skills at different tracks against different drivers and the last two weeks have shown what he is capable of. On September 19th, Lex's team hit Powerline Speedway for the Michael Duritsky Jr. Fall Fest and ran three classes. Hamerski finished second in the Sr. Champ class which started the payouts coming as he scored $200 for his efforts. Clone 360 rolled off next and Lex brought home the checkered flag this time, grabbing $800 for the win. The largest class went out last and the sixteen-year-old driver would steal the largest payout of the event which paid out $2,000 for winning the Clone 375 Michael Duritsky Jr. Memorial race.
This past Saturday Team Hamerski travelled to Grafton, WV to run the MDK Memorial Race at Kool Valley Kartway where Lex continued his winning ways bringing home wins in the Sr. Champ class ($300 To Win) as well as the Clone 360 ($500 To Win).
Lex still has numerous races on his 2026 schedule and is hoping to be able to step up to the payout window at each of those events as well.

TONIGHT (Monday 9/28/26) Lex will be a guest on WPKS Karting Series talk show at 7:00pm. To hear what he has to say, join in by clicking the link:
