Good morning,

Due to the heat and some unexpected health issues, I have been unable to clean up the original shooting house that was taken down.

As a result, this Saturday's 09/12 Metal Madness event will be replaced with a cleanup day for the old shooting house to ensure it is safe for future events.

The Bethel University shooting team has kindly offered to help, and anyone else who is available is welcome to join.

❤️ **What an incredible day at the Happy Feet Equal Learning Feet Fundraiser! ** ❤️

Today was a wonderful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together for its children.

A special thank you to **Wayne Crisp**, who did a fantastic job auctioning off the donated items—even in the heat! Thank you also to **Knoth's Bar-B-Que** for offering delicious pulled pork sandwiches for a donation of any amount.

The **Livingston County School staff and FRYSC** also stepped up in a big way by helping secure sponsors and pick up donated items. Their hard work behind the scenes helped make this event possible.

And of course, we can't forget **Sheriff Glenn Gordon**, who challenged everyone to see if anyone could outshoot him at Metal Madness! That challenge brought plenty of excitement and fun to the day!

Most importantly, **thank you to every person who donated their money, their time, and their support to this heartwarming event. **

❤️ **Every dollar raised will go toward purchasing new shoes for children in Livingston County, Kentucky, who need assistance. ** ❤️

For Mrs. T and me, being allowed to be a small part of this wonderful event for the past **12 years** has truly been a blessing. Seeing our community come together year after year to help children is something that never stops being heartwarming.

It’s almost time for this year’s **Happy Feet Equal Learning Feet Annual Fundraiser**, and we couldn’t be more excited!

This year is shaping up to be our **BIGGEST fundraiser yet**, thanks to an amazing group of local sponsors, businesses, and community members who have stepped up to help make a difference.

🔥 **Sheriff Glenn Gordon has thrown down the challenge! **
Think you can outshoot the Sheriff at **Metal Madness**? Come on out and give it your best shot! We’re looking forward to seeing who takes the challenge! 😎

🍖 **Knoth’s Bar-B-Que – Lake City** will be feeding everyone with meals available for a donation.

🍦 **Lighthouse Landing Marina & Resort** will be serving up **Dippin’ Dots for a donation! **

🎁 And then there’s the **BIG AUCTION! **

We have the **largest auction table we have ever had**, thanks to individuals and local businesses who have stepped up in a BIG way to support this great cause.

The auction will be **live with Wayne Crisp beginning at 1:00 PM**, and there truly will be **something for everyone**—from household items and unique treasures to some pretty exciting items, including **firearm suppressors**.
