All Games today canceled; fields took too much water to recover. No Games next weekend for Labor Day; all games will start Sept 13th, and we will likely extend the season by one weekend at the end. ⛈

“Walk-Up Wednesdays” at Southern Little League winds down with one final night of fun TONIGHT - for Minors & Majors ages kids. Please register via link ahead so we can plan pizza for the players.

Had a GREAT turnout last 3x weeks with 30+ players each time, across 2x fields, of all ageshaving an amazing time coaching their own games, maintaining their own rules, and ensuring everybody got chances at whatever positions they wanted to try.

No adults involved except an ump for balls/strikes & some spotters for safety, otherwise KIDS RULE!

2026 Walk-Up Wednesdays
"Walk-Up Wednesdays" will take place each Wednesday in August ( 5, 12, 19, 26) from 7:30p - 9:30p.

Looking for "S'More" Baseball this summer? Southern's “Sandlot Style” kid-led baseball game series it set up purely for the fun of the game.

Open to Minors & Majors aged players (8u-12u) from Spring season.

The cost is $5 / week ($20 for full session) to cover registration and pizza for the kids. To avoid auto-added service fee in the system, please play to pay via SLL Paypal link or bring cash the day of the event

Meet at the Concession Stand area each week to divide into teams & head to fields.

Adult Southern LL Coaches will be present to facilitate a fun event and to Ump, but otherwise this is an opportunity for kids to be allowed to coach the bases, pick positions, and play at their own pace. If we have several players who pitch/catch we will try to rotate every inning.

All standard little league safety & equipment rules still apply (USA bats, Bring batting helmets, Catchers gear if appropriate, etc…)

Hey fall ball families. Teams are set, and schedules should be out in the next few days.
All games are on Sundays between 12-5pm starts!

We are excited to kicked of a fully packed fall season.

2026 Senior BB State Semifinals - Southern Breezes Past Grosse Pointe in State Semis

Southern makes the final 4 after going 2-1 in pool play to be the 2 seed.

Southern won big over Grosse Pointe 11-1 at West Portage Little League.

Southern got on the board in the 1st inning after Will Lodenstein singled, scoring one run.

Three more runs crossed the plate in the second inning to extend the lead to 4-0. Jansen Fahlen tripled, scoring one run, and Jameson East homered to right field, scoring two runs.

Southern added one run in the third. Pablo Alzamora hit a sacrifice fly, making the score 5-0.

Sam VanderPloeg earned the win for Southern. The starter surrendered 3 hits and 1 run (zero earned) over 6 innings, striking out 9 and walking 4.

Southern amassed 9 hits in the game. Fahlen led Southern with 4 runs batted in from the number nine spot in the lineup. The right-handed hitter went 2-for-3 on the day.

Overall, the team had patience at the plate, tallying 7 walks for the game. Jameson East stole two bases. Southern ran wild on the base paths, tallying 4 stolen bases for the game.

Southern advances back to the state finals for a rematch with Taylor North.

Senior Baseball District Finals Southern(2-0) vs Pinery Park (2-1)

Southern Surges Past Pinery Park Thanks To Big Fourth Inning

In a game that didn’t start until after 10pm, Southern scored 9 runs in the 4th inning, which helped them defeat Pinery Park Seniors 13-0. Noah Hauk homered to left field, scoring 3 runs, Jansen Fahlen singled, scoring 2 runs, Cooper Seyferth singled, scoring 2 runs, Luke Spoelma and Jack Cramer both singled to score 1 run.

Southern got on the board in the bottom of the 1st after Seyferth grounded out to score Reggiani the leadoff hitter

Luke Spoelma started on the mound for Southern. The starting pitcher gave up zero hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out five and walking two.

Cooper Seyferth came in relief and threw two innings of no-run ball for Southern. The hurler gave up zero hits, striking out four and walking none.

Southern amassed 10 hits in the game. Elliot Reggiani set the tone at the top of the lineup, leading with three hits in four at bats. Hauk and Seyferth each drove in 3 runs.

Overall, the team had patience at the plate, collecting nine walks for the game. Reggiani stole two bases. Southern was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Gage Potter made the most plays with five.
