Rapid Movement Skateboard Marathon is a timed 26.2 mile race around the Beautiful Millennium Park located in Grand Rapids, Michigan - just minutes away from Downtown Grand Rapids. Come experience this unique race as the path snakes through natures wonders. Rapid Movement is the first fully formed single celled organism to emerge from the primordial ooze of the Michigan longboard scene. This event
is the product of evolution following years of mingling and collaborating. The marathon alone is going to be 26.2 miles of muscles on fire competition. The sprint events are the icing on the cake making it even more likely you'll be skating home with something. If the Marathon seems like it's a little much, then we also are offering a one lap (7 Miles) and we will be having a timed Mile for anyone interested in beating the world record. We know there are couple of you out there.
