We’ve been putting the warm-water program to work right here in the valley!

With the late-summer heat still hanging on for a little bit longer, it’s a great time to explore some of the warm-water fishing we have close to home. Bass, carp, panfish—grab a fly rod, try something different, and go see what eats!

How does a commercial roofer end up owning a fly shop!?

Apparently, all it takes is 27 years, one particularly rough jobsite meeting, and a lifelong inability to stop thinking or talking about fish.

Ned got to sit down and talk about his journey to fly-shop ownership, the strange pull that keeps us all chasing fish, the future of our local waters, and what has kept Western Anglers serving Western Colorado for more than 30 years.
