🐴 GJHSA Arena Etiquette Reminder 🐴

As we get ready for the Summer Celebration Show, we want to remind all exhibitors to help keep our warm-up arenas safe, efficient, and enjoyable for everyone.

Warm-Up Arena Guidelines

🔸 Never stop or stand in traffic lanes.
🔸 Do not travel against the flow of traffic.
🔸 Be aware of riders around you and communicate when passing.
🔸 Keep gates clear and enter/exit the arena safely.

Below are some examples. One for reining/cowhorse and the other for performance classes.

Remember, good arena etiquette helps prevent accidents, reduces stress for horses and riders, and creates a positive experience for everyone.

Thank you for showing the sportsmanship and respect that make Grand Junction Horse Show Association events such a great place to compete!

Two amazing weekends of horse showing are in the books for GJHSA! 🎉🐴

A huge THANK YOU to all of our exhibitors, volunteers, spectators, and dedicated board members who helped make both the CoWN Cow Horse Show and the Mother’s Day Show such a success. Between the two events, we offered an incredible 122 classes and had 480 total class entries! 🤩

We couldn’t have asked for better weather, better horses, or a more fun group of people to spend two weekends with. From the ranch classes to the performance classes, the arenas were full of great rides, cheering spectators, and lots of smiles all weekend long. ☀️💙 Feel free to share your favorite pics in the comments!!!!

Thank you to everyone who came out to support GJHSA and help create such a fun and welcoming show environment. We are already looking forward to doing it all again at our next show June 19-20! Don’t miss the special Hunter/Jumper classes happening Friday afternoon on June 19 following the regular slate of classes. It’s going to be another fantastic weekend! 🐎✨
