Today is a heartbreaking day for all of us in the Nicolet wrestling family. We learned of the passing of one of our own, Tovah Mauermann.
Tovah graduated in 2026 and spent all four years as a manager for the Nicolet wrestling program. If you were around our program, you knew Tovah. You knew that infectious smile, her sense of humor, her charm, and her ability to bring a little lightness to even the longest days. She was there for the early morning bus rides, every practice, dual meets, tournaments, and all the moments in between. No matter when or where we needed her, Tovah showed up.
She helped keep the team in line, kept things organized, and wasn't afraid to give the guys a hard time when they needed it. But more than anything, she cared about this team and the people in it. She was always there, always willing to help, and always ready with a smile.
As coaches, we had the privilege of watching Tovah grow over those four years, and we are incredibly grateful that she was part of our program. There are certain people who become woven into the fabric of a team, and Tovah was one of those people.
We will miss her more than words can express.
Our deepest condolences go out to Tovah's family, friends, and everyone who loved her. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.
Funeral services for Tovah will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Goodman-Benson Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Mound Zion Cemetery.
Rest peacefully, Tovah. Thank you for being such an important part of our family. We will carry your memory with us always. ❤️
