This week we're rolling through the 1920s and 1930s. Today we have an unknown man in the window of the skate shop at Dreamland Park Roller Skating Rink. The photograph was taken sometime between 1925 and 1933. Not currently on display.

October is National Roller Skating Month! 🛼

This year’s theme is “Rolling Through the Generations” — celebrating the way roller skating has brought families, friends, and communities together year after year.

From the music and styles of decades past to today’s newest generation of skaters, every era has added something special to the rink. Different generations, same great feeling!

Whether you’ve been skating for 50 years or you’re just learning to roll, October is your month to celebrate the memories, the music, and the fun that keeps roller skating going strong.
