⏸️ PAUSE TEMPO BACK SQUATS

Today’s strength work featured pause-tempo back squats—and that extra time under tension makes every rep count.

Pausing at the bottom of the squat helps athletes:

✅ Build strength and confidence in the hardest position
✅ Improve control, balance, and squat mechanics
✅ Eliminate bouncing out of the bottom
✅ Develop core tension and stability
✅ Strengthen the legs, hips, and glutes
✅ Identify and improve weak points

The goal isn’t to move the heaviest weight possible. It’s to own every inch of the movement—controlled on the way down, strong in the pause, and powerful on the way up.

Control creates strength. Strength creates power. 💪

9/11 Workout. 110 tire pounds to signify the 110 stories of towers. 415 heavy DBall carry to signify the meters of the height of towers. Carry 50-80 # to simulate a firefighters gear.
