💔 We have some sad news to share.

Carter's Grandma Mary passed away this past Saturday.

She was always so proud that Carter was a racer. During her high school years, she spent many nights at State Park Speedway in Wausau watching races. How special that Carter was able to race at State Park before it closed and even earn Rookie of the Year in his Bandolero.
Grandma Mary loved watching Dave Marcis and Dale Earnhardt race in NASCAR, so you could say racing was in her blood.

We apologize for being late on posting updates from our races at Wisconsin Dells on Saturday and Slinger on Sunday. I know you all understand. We will share those soon.

We are incredibly proud of Carter's determination to continue racing after learning that his Grandma was no longer with us here on earth. We know she is now his guardian angel riding along with him on every lap. 💞Andy has pushed through as well, knowing his mother-in-law loved racing just as much as the Stein Family does. A BIG Thank you to Aunt Sherry for getting Grandma Mary to a bunch of races over the last few years 😍

❤️Thank you to our racing family for the love, support, prayers, and kindness you've shown us during this difficult time. Losing the heart of our family tree is not easy, but we are grateful to have such an amazing community standing beside us.

Madison international speedway and Jefferson speedway recap from Carter’s drivers seat. 🛞

💪🏻At Madison during practice I had a good car placed decently high up In the standings and I had to relearn the track due to not being at the track racing for over a year.

⏰During qualifying I got 5th so not bad but during both of my laps I spun the tires down the front stretch screwing up both of my laps.

🔥Then in the heat I started 4th and I finished 2nd and i was getting close to catching Bentley but I couldn’t get there in time to make the pass.

🖤In the feature at Madison I started 7th and finished 4th, it was a tough race for me because I was stuck in heavy traffic but once I got out I was able to quickly catch 3rd but not in time before the race ended.

💪🏻Then practice at Jefferson speedway I was excited to get on track I was feeling really fast and In the end I got 4th with a 15.3.

⏰In qualifying it was terrible for me the car was way too tight so I slowed down quite a bit and ended up 8th with a 15.7.

🔥For the heat then we made a big adjustment in the car to loosen me up and it worked I ended up winning the heat from 3rd place and drove it away.

🖤Then in the feature I was ready for it but then we heard we would be after the supers so we were unsure if the car would handle as we thought but it worked in the end. I started 3rd and right after the first 5 laps I was out front leading the race with a super fast and good handling car until about ten to go but I never left the leaders bumper until the lapped traffic came up.

In the end the two day weekend was a long one with a lot of fun and I can’t thank my mom and dad enough for videoing the races and helping figure out what adjustments to make, and I can’t forget about my Sponsors. They do so much for me so that I can do what I love. ❤️

🏁Jefferson Speedway opening night recap from Carter’s drivers seat. 🛞

💚Practice started out good but the car was super loose so we had to try and figure it out for qualifying and try and figure out a bad vibration but we still ended up with a 15.5 at 9th.

💜Then we had qualifying, the car was the best that it felt all day but I had my brake bias set wrong so going in the corner I wasn’t using the correct line. But in the end I got 15.5 and qualified 6th which was a bit faster than practice.

🔥In the heat race we started 4th and right off the bat we got to second battling Bentley for the lead, then after passing him I led the rest of the race to get the first win of the season.

🖤Then to end out the night in the feature we started 2nd and right away I got stuck on the outside and got shuffled to the back. But I was able to get back into it and get in line with the rest of the lead cars and go nose to tail till the end of the race with finishing 6th and clocking the fastest lap of the race with a 15.173.

In the end it was a fun first night at Jefferson Speedway and I can’t wait to get back at it at Madison international speedway on the 22nd.
