Coach Vickee-Kazee Hollifield brings an unbelievable amount of experience, knowledge, and success to the field, along with former players, coaches, and KY Impact staff helping throughout camp. Players will receive specialized instruction in hitting, pitching, fielding, and overall softball IQ for both infield and outfield play. 💙

If you love a comeback story do we have one for you! The Edge girls came out for their first tournament of the season this weekend at the Caleb Conley Memorial Tournament.

Their first game of pool play was Friday night where they came away with the easy win.
Both of their pool play games on Saturday were losses…bats were cold and errors were made. Spirits were down.

Fast forward to today….these girls showed up and showed out! They battled their way through four games, with the last being the championship where they were only beat by two runs against a team that beat them 15-4 yesterday. We are so proud of their toughness and are excited to see what the rest of the season holds!

Katie Carty Puts On Strong Contact Performance As CKY EDGE JUSTUS 14U Take The Win Over CKY Regulators 14U

Katie Carty collected three hits in four at bats, as CKY EDGE JUSTUS 14U defeated CKY Regulators 14U 16-1 on Friday. Carty singled in the second inning, doubled in the first inning, and singled in the second inning.

CKY EDGE JUSTUS 14U scored nine runs in the second inning on the way to victory. Gracen Wright singled, scoring one run, Emerson Perrine tripled, scoring two runs, an error scored one run, Kendall Carty singled, scoring one run, Carty singled, scoring three runs, and a wild pitch scored one run.

CKY EDGE JUSTUS 14U got on the board in the top of the first inning after Wright singled down the left field line, Perrine doubled to center field, Carty grounded out, and Aubrey Morey singled to the left side of the infield, each scoring one run.

CKY EDGE JUSTUS 14U added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Carty singled to center field, Morey singled to center field, and Kinley Hickman grounded out, each scoring one run.

Perrine earned the win for CKY EDGE JUSTUS 14U. The hurler allowed zero hits and one run over three innings, striking out one and walking four. Aspen Shead took the loss for CKY Regulators 14U. The pitcher went three innings, giving up 16 runs (11 earned) on 15 hits, striking out none and walking one.

CKY EDGE JUSTUS 14U accumulated 15 hits in the game. Carty and Morey each collected three hits for CKY EDGE JUSTUS 14U. Carty, Carty, and Perrine each drove in three runs for CKY EDGE JUSTUS 14U. Wright collected two hits for CKY EDGE JUSTUS 14U in two at bats. CKY EDGE JUSTUS 14U turned one double play in the game.

CKY EDGE JUSTUS 14U will travel to OC Elite - Kraus 14U for their next game on Saturday.

Our athletes have been putting in the work all offseason, and they’re ready to hit the field, compete, and represent CKY Edge with pride. We can’t wait to see our players, families, and supporters fill the stands in black, orange, and white as we begin another exciting season.

Come out and cheer on the Edge as we start the journey one game at a time. Let’s make some memories and play some softball!
