🤔WHY STUNT CLINIC??
We put some thoughts together if you're on the edge & wondering why attendance at stunt clinic is so important:
1️⃣They will focus on STUNT SAFETY.🤕 Stunting safely is always our top priority! They will have dedicated time to cover proper stunting techniques which are crucial for learning how to stunt & are the foundation for creating (and executing) exciting and creative stunt sequences!
2️⃣ Your athlete will get to work on STUNT PROGRESSION.🔝 Stunt progression is HUGE - it helps to focus on technique, proper hand placements, and getting familiar with their bodies. They will work on all levels from beginner, to intermediate, through advanced (whatever is legal for that division).
3️⃣Clinic is SPECIALIZED✨ to your athlete & their teams' stunting level specifically! We bring in instructors who are able to assist in stunts to fit specific team needs, critique and AMP up stunts your athlete's coach may already have. They will also demonstrate new stunts for your teams to learn and work on!
4️⃣In class your coaches have to cover MULTIPLE things 🤹‍♀️ - jumps, motions, formation changes, stunts, pyramids, choreography etc.
45 minutes divided into just 4 categories = 10+ minutes per category...let's try 45 minutes divided into 5 categories = 9 minutes per category. Then throw in some water breaks, potty breaks, and re-working material for absent students or those who forgot material.... see where I'm going....? 🤯😂
So... our final reason?
5️⃣We get extra time dedicated SOLELY for stunting & pyramid. Not only do most teams leave with their entire sequence put together and ready to go, teams leave more confident in themselves and with each other. Your coaches get to continue to create visual, exciting, and complex/enhanced choreography💃 and get to build relationships with their athletes by working together! 🤜🤛
Stunt clinic to cheerleading is like a scrimmage to football.🏈
