Don’t forget! Tomorrow is the last day for tryouts for the 2027 Pioneers during this tryout window.

ALL players (including returners and newcomers) wishing to play this year must attend one of the two dates (attending both is fine but not required). Anyone who is unable to attend both sessions needs to email Coach Nail at [email protected] to set up a makeup tryout.

Session 2
Saturday, August 1
Everyone 9th-12th grade: registration at 6:15, start warming up by 6:30
Expect to be done by 8:30

All players should bring a hat, a glove, water/Gatorade, and a pair of cleats (tennis shoes are fine the player doesn’t currently have cleats). All other gear is not necessary for the purpose of tryouts, but you’re free to bring it if you have it. DO NOT GO BUY ANYTHING JUST FOR TRYOUTS!

Next week! ALL 9th-12th graders (returners and newcomers) wishing to play baseball this year for the Pioneers must attend one of the two dates (attending both is fine but not required). Anyone who is unable to attend both sessions needs to email Coach Nail at [email protected] to set up a makeup tryout.

**7th-8th grade information** — I’ve had a couple people ask if these tryouts are for their 7th-8th grade players wishing to play 15U American Legion in the spring. They are welcome and encouraged to come to these tryouts but they won’t be formally evaluated at this time. That tryout will be in December or January.

Session 1:
Tuesday, July 28

Wake up, it’s gameday! The Pioneers are in the postseason for consecutive years for the first time since 2004, and they need your support bright and early for a 10:00 am start at HOME as they take on the top-seeded Dardanelle Sand Lizards. It’s win or go home in the first round of regionals, as always!

Just a reminder that there are scam accounts out there that say they have the link for live video for today’s game and other games. Many of these are easy to spot, but there is at least one account that is nearly identical to the AAA’s page except that it only has 156 followers. PLEASE don’t click on any of those links. Our game today will be available to stream free on the Hudl Fan app/website for free or you can watch on GameChanger like normal. Instructions for accessing Hudl Fan are in our last post.

Lots of good information for the regional tournament tomorrow through Saturday. Your Pioneers will get the day started at 10:00 am as they take on top-seeded Pottsville from the 4A-4. The Lady Pioneers finish the day on the softball side vs. Pottsville at approximately 5:30.

Tickets for regionals must be purchased online through the link below. Make sure you are selecting the correct event (4A-1 regional baseball/softball) AND day(s) you are attending. Purchase them before arriving at the ballpark to avoid a delay on entry to the ballpark.
