For the 26-27 season I will be the Head Coach for TX Glory IL 14u 2030 out of the Bloomington/Normal area. My name is Shawn Kobel and I was the head coach at Parkside Junior High Softball for 9 season, Normal West for JV for 8 seasons, and am the current Varsity softball coach at Normal West. I previously coached TX Glory IL 05 which was ranked 4th in nation by Triple Crown and Coached TX Glory IL 06. 14U Open IMG Alliance Champions!!! 🏆

After a tough challenge from the coaches following pool play, the girls responded in the best way possible, finishing 1st out of 16 teams and locking in with incredible team defense all throughout bracket play.

Proud of this group and the way they competed together. On to next weekend as they aim to keep it rolling at the LP4U Michigan Finesse tournament!

The girls took first in the 13O in Springfield this weekend! While it was a smaller tournament, we were able to play some really good competition, including our sister team.

Rya earned MVP of the championship game with another solid outing in the circle, but the defense behind her was absolutely stellar.

Danika came up huge in the semifinals with a big-time Glory 💣.

The girls are off for Memorial Day weekend and then back at it at the end of the month in O’Fallon.

TX Glory IL 13u player Monroe Younghouse, Jess (mother), Harry (brother), Rosie (new born sister) were faced with an emergency on there way home today from their tournament in IA. Jess did an incredible job getting all the kids out of the vehicle safely before it became engulfed in flames. Everything was lost in the vehicle. I would like to raise some money so Monroe can replace her softball items. Please Venmo if you would like to help. Thanks
