🏁 THAT’S A WRAP ON THE 2026 SEASON! 🏁

31 nights, 19 top 10s, 14 top 5s, 6 DNFs, 15 infield tires hit, 3 new bodies, 3 front bumpers, 1 blown gear, and somehow… we’re still married. 😂

This season has been one heck of a ride! A lot of highs, a lot of lows, plenty of gremlins, and more than a few times Kaitlyn wanted to start a fight with somebody. 👊🏼But through all the chaos, we’ve made some incredible memories, had a whole lot of fun, and brought home a WIN! 🏆

One of the biggest highlights of our season was being chosen as a Hunting with Heroes - Salute to Veterans driver. This is something we’ve wanted to be a part of since the program began, so getting the opportunity to represent such an incredible cause meant more to us than we can put into words. 🇺🇸

To all of our friends, family, sponsors, and fans — THANK YOU! Whether you helped in the shop, cheered us on at the track, bought merchandise, sponsored the car, or followed along through all the chaos, we appreciate every single one of you. We absolutely could not do this without your support.

And a HUGE special thank-you to Matt and Taylor for everything you do day in and day out. The time, work, and help you put into this team never go unnoticed. This season wouldn’t have been possible without you guys!

We had our share of wins, wrecks, late nights, questionable decisions, and moments that tested everyone’s patience 😂 — but we wouldn’t trade a second of it!

Now the real question is… WHO’S READY TO DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN?! 👀🏁 We’ve got some winter work ahead of us, a few stories we probably shouldn’t tell, and a whole new season to chase. Thank you for being part of our journey. We’ll see you at the track in 2027!

We’ve been a little quiet around here since Boone… and honestly, life has just been LIFE. 😂

Between getting the car fixed up, moving, work, kids, family, and all the other chaos that comes with real life, racing has had to take a back seat for a minute. But don’t worry — 65J isn’t done yet! 🏁

We’ve got two more weekends on the schedule and we’re ready to finish this season out swinging.

🏁 THAT’S A WRAP ON SUPER NATIONALS 44 🏁

Well… we didn’t quite make it to the Big Dance, but we definitely made it interesting. 😂

After Tuesday night’s rainout, our feature got shoved to first thing Wednesday morning on what may have been the muddiest track of our entire racing career. 🌧️🫠

Starting P15, we knew exactly what we had to do — with all the B Mains for points AND the last-chance races cancelled, there was no messing around. We needed a P8 or better to lock ourselves into the Big Dance.

And for a while… it looked like we might actually pull this off. 👀

The car was FAST, the driver was FOCUSED, and we worked our way up to P6 fairly quickly. We were making moves, gaining spots, and starting to think maybe this crazy week was finally going to go our way.

Then, as we were taking the checkered flag, we got stacked up in Turn 2 and somehow ended up in the infield again. 😂

So… P6 became “well, we tried.” And unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to get us into the Big Dance.

But honestly, we’ll take it. We had a fast car, got some solid racing in, and survived an absolutely insane week.

A HUGE thank you to all of our sponsors, fans, friends, and family who supported us throughout this entire season. Whether you were at the track, watching online, sharing posts, cheering from home, or helping behind the scenes — we appreciate every single one of you. 🏁

Super Nationals may be over, but we’re heading home with a fast race car, a whole lot of memories, and approximately 47 things to fix. 😂

🏁 IMCA SUPER NATIONALS — DAY 1 RECAP & DAY 2 OUTLOOK 🏁

If you’re wondering how Super Nationals at Boone Speedway is going… we’re tired, slightly confused, and somehow still racing. So, pretty much exactly as expected. 😂

DAY 1:
Josh drew 182/300, putting us P6 in Heat 14. He managed to drive it up to P5, which got us into a B Main for points. We finally rolled onto the track just before MIDNIGHT for the B.

Started P8, moved up one spot to P7, and—most importantly—didn’t tear the car up.

At this point, our standards are simple:
✅ Car still runs
✅ No major body parts missing
✅ Nobody has threatened to sell the car
✅ We survived another day

WE’LL CALL THAT A SUCCESS. 😂

DAY 2:
Josh drew 131/300, putting us P4 in Heat 14. He moved up two spots to P2, earning us a P15 redraw for the feature.

We’ve definitely got our work cut out for us, but the car is fast, it’s still in one piece, and we’re here to send it.

🏁 PRELUDE TO THE SUPER NATIONALS — DAY 2 🏁

Well, Day 2 went about as well as you’d expect at Boone Speedway.

We drew pretty much dead middle of the road, putting us P5 in Heat 14. We were sitting in the LAST TRANSFER SPOT to the A, which is exactly where you want to be when your brain decides to start thinking about the next round instead of finishing the one you’re currently in. 😐

So naturally… we caught the damn infield tires. Because apparently passing cars wasn’t enough excitement. We decided to go sightseeing through the infield instead. Unfortunately, the infield tires did not appreciate our visit, and that was the end of our heat race. 😂

No A.
No B.
Just bad vibes.

We got the car fixed up and ready to go for the next day, because apparently we enjoy making more work for ourselves.

Then Mother Nature looked at our situation and said, “You know what? That’s enough punishment for one day.” 🌩️

A storm rolled in and cancelled the rest of the program, so we spent the storm taking naps 😴

Once the weather cleared, we went out, explored a little, and rang in Taylor’s birthday! 🎂🎉 So at least the day ended on a high note!

Now we get to do it all over again. 🙃
