We know… we’ve been a little QUIET lately. 👀

Life has been keeping us busy in the real world, so the race car has had to patiently wait its turn. 😂 But we’re officially getting things moving again!

The car got WRAPPED yesterday and is looking fresh! 🔥Now we just need to get some welding done on the frame, put everything back together, and pretend we have plenty of time. 😅

Because apparently T-MINUS 7 DAYS until SUPER NATIONALS! 🏁

Nothing like a little last-minute pressure to really get the adrenaline going. 😂

We’ve got a lot of work ahead of us, but we’ll be there and ready to go! 💪 Couldn’t do it without Matt & Taylor!

Season Championship at Kossuth County Speedway… well, that escalated quickly. 😂🏁

With the highest point average, we knew we’d be starting in the back of the heat. Managed to work our way up to P3, which put us P2 in the feature based on our second-place finish in overall points.

Apparently leaving an entire lane isn’t enough when they’re determined to drive through you like it’s a demo derby. 💥🫣 We’ll spare the details, watch the replay if you want, but the car took a beating.

We’ve got a LOT of fixing to do—new body panels, a new wrap on AT LEAST the right side, and probably a little therapy for the crew. 😂

Not exactly how we wanted to end the season here, but we’ll get it put back together and be ready to go.

🏁 Kossuth County Speedway Recap 🏁

What. A. Night.

Bentley drew 35/50, which meant starting in the back of the heat. The driver put his head down and drove up to P2! 🙌

Then came the redraw… P4 for the feature.

And FINALLY… WE GOT THE WIN! 🏆
A 3.732 second gap at the checkered flag! 😮‍💨🔥

It’s been a LONG season filled with plenty of ups, downs, bad luck, frustration, and probably a few more four-letter words than we’d like to admit 😂. So to finally put it all together and get back to Victory Lane is exactly what we needed. And getting to celebrate it with our little family there makes it that much more special. These are the nights we’ll remember.

Huge thank you to everyone who continues to support us, cheer us on, help us in the pits, and stick with us through all the highs and lows. We appreciate you more than you know!

🏁 WEEKEND RECAP: FAST CAR, QUESTIONABLE LUCK & ONE VERY DEAD GEAR 🏁

Thursday — Kossuth County Speedway Fair Race 🎡

Started the night by drawing 49 out of 50 because apparently we’re still committed to making things as difficult as possible for ourselves. 😂 That put us dead last in the heat, but for once, luck decided to quit bullying us. We drove it all the way from the back to P1 and picked up the heat race win! 🏁

Redrew P5 for the feature, battled with Charlie for P2, and eventually brought it home P3. We’ll absolutely take a podium after starting the night with a 49/50 draw. 😎

Saturday — Boone Speedway

Started P5 in the heat, stayed out of everyone else’s extracurricular activities, and finished P2. Made the invert and rolled off P8 for the feature.

The car was FAST. We knew the line we needed to run. Things were looking pretty good… So naturally, something had to go wrong. 😂

Coming to the checkers, the gear decided it had officially fulfilled its contractual obligations to Appel Racing and completely imploded. 💀

But the 65J wasn’t about to quit 100 feet too early. We rolled past the flag stand on hopes, dreams, momentum, and approximately 3 horsepower and STILL managed to finish P7. 😂🏁

Overall — two solid nights, a fast race car, and another expensive reminder that race cars are very good at turning money into broken parts.
