This one is for the girls....

Congrats to our Thunder girls! 3peat State Cup Champions and this time in the National Championship Series! A monumental achievement that you will have for the rest of your lives. You've earned and deserved this title without a doubt.

The time, dedication, and sacrifice you put in day in and day out is a direct result. The multiple trainings a week, additional sessions, drop ins, strength & conditioning, hybrid training, pick up games... you guys did it all... willingly. Not to mention the personal sacrifices, missed social gatherings, vacations, school events, family events, even sleep... this title did not come without a price. A price all of you paid through sweat and tears. This journey was not easy by any means, Coach Dan pushes you to be your best and then asks you to be better. You ladies step up and prove you are better and still can be more.

To say we are proud of you would be a gross understatement. The joy and pride we feel as parents and coaches is indescribable. We have the privilege of watching you ladies day in and day out. You have grown up to be talented young women. You take on any challenge head on and always having each other's back. I know the cliche "This team is special" but it holds true for this team. From inception to date, this team has stood strong and has stood together, many of you easily have opportunities elsewhere, but you chose to stay with a "township" team and that speaks volumes.

Well done Thunder, well done...
