Today, the Alexandria Reds Baseball family honors and remembers the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. ⚾

Their sacrifice made the freedoms we enjoy possible, both on and off the field. As we spend time with family, teammates, and friends this Memorial Day, we pause with gratitude to remember our fallen heroes.

We remember. We honor. We thank you.

So incredibly proud of ALL these boys. You represented Alexandria with pride, passion, and your impact on our community will be felt for years. For those OG's in the group, it’s been a privilege watching you grow over the years into incredible people who just so happen to paly baseball. When it’s all said and done, that’s what we’re most proud of and we feel fortunate to have been part of that journey. We wish you nothing but the best in this next chapter of your lives and know that you will always have a home with the Reds. Once a Red, Always A Red.

Congratulations to our 13U White Reds for being named this week’s Team of the Week! This group has continued to show tremendous effort and growth throughout the season. Their positive attitude and commitment to improving every day have stood out both on and off the field. The 13U White Reds continue to represent the Alexandria Reds program with pride. Keep up the outstanding work!

“Our group is beginning to peak as we move deeper into the spring season, and they continue to make both myself and our entire program proud. Coach Matt and I consistently emphasize the importance of competing on the field, demonstrating leadership qualities, and being great people off the field. We are excited to keep the momentum going and finish the season strong while continuing to focus on both individual and team development, with the goal of preparing these players for high school baseball. Congratulations to Jackson Naumovich (3rd from the left, top row) for receiving the Presidential Scholarship from Westminster College where he will be playing baseball next season. The Reds and greater Alexandria baseball community are so proud of you!

Westminster College has awarded $1,710,000 in merit-based scholarships to nine incoming first-year students for the upcoming academic year, recognizing academic achievement, leadership and demonstrated potential for success across a range of academic disciplines.
