FWCA suffered another defeat in the tournament, losing to Warsaw by 62 runs.

We bowled first, and our attack put in a determined effort, with Roshan striking early with 3 wickets. Satwik, Meet and Hameed bagged 2 wickets each to their name. Despite creating pressure, the opposition built small steady partnerships and managed to post a competitive total of 188.
After a quick start from Roshan (35 off 20 balls) and Satwik (24 off 18 balls), the batting collapsed, and we lost wickets at regular intervals. Abdali (26 off 25 balls) tried to build the momentum in the middle, but ultimately fell short, handing the opposition victory by 62 runs.

Even in defeat, the bowling unit showed good promise and there were moments in the field that we can build on going forward.

After suffering a few setbacks in the tournament, FWCA came back with a resounding victory over Toledo. FWCA put up a display of dominance, strategy, and skill.

Bowling first, the opening bowlers set the tone early, putting the Toledo opening batsman under pressure. Trying to recover, they bundled out for a paltry total of 128. Hamid bagged a well-deserved fifer, with 2 wickets to Meet and 1 each to Satwik and Shoaib. FWCA gave a total of only 8 extras in the innings, with under 4.5 economy rate for all bowlers, showcasing their relentless line and length.

Special mention to a great catch and a direct-hit run out by Abdali that changed the game.

FWCA was able to achieve the target within the 21st over with 6 wickets in hand, thanks to an unbeaten 73* (73) by Satwik and 34 (40) by Vijay. The 88-run partnership in the middle proved too good for the opposition bowlers.

Hamid was adjudged the man of the match for his all-important 5 wicket haul.

FWCA is determined to keep the momentum going after this! 💪
