Established in 1977, the Fort Wayne Running Club is your local RRCA-affiliated running club, promoting health and fitness through the sport of running and walking. This is a group of volunteers based in the Fort Wayne area with a passion for promoting health and fitness through the sport of running!

8 reasons you probably shouldn’t sign up for Runners on Pace presented by Fort Wayne Orthopedics
Maybe this race just isn't for you...
1. I don't like summer mornings...so why would I spend one hanging out with a few hundred of my running friends?
2. A safe, mostly flat loop course? I’d much rather battle traffic and confusion!
3. Mile clocks, enthusiastic volunteers, and clear course markings? Sounds exhausting!
4. Running alongside Eagle Marsh Nature Preserve? I'd rather stare at potholes or parking lots!
5. A custom race shirt that people actually compliment? Way too much attention for me!
6. Cash awards, age-group awards, youth award medals...who needs all that recognition?
7. A post-race party with refreshments under the canopy? I’ll pass-I prefer leaving immediately after I finish.
8. Saving money with affordable registration, youth pricing, and FWRC member discounts? Paying more is way more rewarding.

So...if all of that sounds awful, you should probably skip Runners on Pace.

❤️ Thank You, JP Jones Participants! ❤️

The Fort Wayne Running Club would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who participated in the JP Jones Just Plain 10K/3.3K and helped make a difference in our community.

Thanks to your generosity, we collected over 100 donated shirts that will be shared with individuals served by Wellspring Interfaith Social Services and Adult Life Day Academy.

Your support goes far beyond race day. By bringing a shirt to donate, you helped provide clothing and encouragement to members of our community who can truly benefit from it.

Thank you for making the JP Jones race about more than running. Together, we are helping create a stronger, more caring Fort Wayne.

☀️ Tread the Trails Canceled Tonight ☀️

Due to the Heat Advisory and out of concern for the safety of our participants, tonight's Tread the Trails has been canceled.

We know many of you were looking forward to getting out on the trails with us, but extreme heat can create dangerous conditions for walkers, runners, and volunteers alike.

Please stay safe, stay hydrated, and consider moving your workout indoors or to a cooler part of the day.

We'll be back for our next Tread the Trails event on June 25th at Shoaff Park and hope to see everyone then!

Tread the Trails is back tomorrow night at Jack R. Harris Park , located at N. Main St Grabill, In . Join us and Fort Wayne Trails for a 1 mile or 5k route. Things will get started at 6pm. We hope to see you there!

What a day! From the weather delays to the eventual start, you all showed incredible patience, flexibility, and determination. Thank you for sticking with us as we monitored the storms and worked to provide the safest possible race experience. We appreciate every runner, walker, volunteer, sponsor, and spectator who helped make the event a success despite the challenging weather.

Whether you set a personal best, completed your first race, or simply enjoyed being part of the running community, we're proud of every one of you!
