What an incredible honor today.

Mike and I have been on this Jiu Jitsu journey together for a long time, and this past year has been a major milestone. We’ve pushed each other to grow, sharpen, and evolve. His understanding of Jiu Jitsu has reached a deeper level, and just as important—the joy of learning has come back strong.

We don’t chase stripes or belts. We chase the journey. And if anyone represents what that really means, it’s Mike.

We’ve had countless conversations about how he can use his growth to lift up the people around him. He doesn’t just train for himself—he invests in his teammates and makes everyone better.

Congratulations. It’s an honor to share the mat with you.

Lots of leveling up in the kids class last night!

Congrats to Aspen Reed and Natalie Ard for earning the first stripe on their Gray belt, Reese Thompson for a shiny second stripe on her White belt, and Anya and Finn Ferguson completed the ladder on their White-Yellow belts!

So much Jiu-Jitsu power!
