Looks like bad news. With only 2 weeks till squirrel season, the mulberries are lookin pretty weak this year. Plenty of squirrels but without the honey hole I guess we walk the timber with the copperheads.

Happy Mother’s Day to the moms of the pack out there! Annie sure was the best mama! Her babies are now 4 years old. Her one and only litter. Sure glad I managed to keep 3 pups out of her and Gus. 🧡🐾🪶

Since Hannah is still healing up, I sighted in her 22 mag for squirrel season. You can’t tell but that is a 3 shot group. This Anschutz always shot pretty good but we glass bedded the action and now it’s a tack driver. Up 2 clicks and wait till June and the mulberries get ripe. A girl has to do something during the off season.

If you look close you can see the bone. Hannah is a hunter at heart, her concern is if she will be able to shoot again.
They cleaned and packed this with no pain meds and sent her to KC for surgery.
No she didn’t get shot, the tin on the pigeon pen turned out to be a work place hazard.
Pocket Pointers training is on hold for now.
