What a wild 4 days it has been! Dillon and Mason had 3 of the best days hunting they’ve ever had seeing 30+ deer and a shooter each night. On night 3 Dillon got an opportunity at this old buck that skirted by chasing a doe on the first night. And to top it off Dillon and Lindsay welcomed their 3rd baby to the world today!

This buck showed up for the first time yesterday on the Tactacam so Cody knew there was a good chance he’d stick around. Cody and Nick made the short drive to Missouri yesterday and sure enough this buck walked back by the stand again and Cody made it happen!

2022 getting kicked off with an absolute stud! This was just Mason’s second hunt on a new food plot. This buck had been pretty consistent showing up in daylight so it was just a matter of getting the right wind, the conditions were right and Mason slipped into his stand and just like clockwork the target buck made his way in. He came right to the tree and was directly below the stand eating acorns before walking across the plot giving a hard quartering away shot. Mason stopped him, made a perfect shot and watched him go down! Congrats on a stud of a buck and a great start to 2022!
