Pierre Post 8 Legion 2026 Triumph Over Renner Post 307 Royals

Pierre Post 8 Legion 2026 took down Renner Post 307 Royals 7-4 on Monday.

Pierre Post 8 Legion 2026 jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the first inning after Will Eilers singled, scoring two runs, and an error scored one run.

Renner Post 307 Royals took the lead, 4-3, in the top of the fifth thanks to singles by Sam Donohoe, and Joey Laible.

Pierre Post 8 Legion 2026 took the lead in the bottom of the fifth inning after Sutton Sonnenschein hit a sacrifice fly, and Will Eilers singled down the left field line, each scoring one run.

Ryker Edson earned the win for Pierre Post 8 Legion 2026. The righty allowed three hits and one run over three innings, striking out three and walking one. Post 8 is pleased to announce this year’s Hometown Hero winner, the late Bill Gayton.

Accepting the award on Bill’s behalf tonight at the Post 8 doubleheader were Bill Gayton Jr. and his family.

Bill's impact on baseball extends far beyond the field. For decades, he dedicated himself to helping young players grow not only as athletes, but as people. A teacher at heart, he believed in hard work, preparation, and giving every player an opportunity to succeed.
He spent countless hours at the ballpark throwing batting practice, offering encouragement, sharing his knowledge of the game, and advocating for players who simply needed someone to believe in them.
