🍇Members, enjoy a fun and interactive wine experience designed for both beginners and seasoned wine and food lovers!

Thursday, July 30 | 4-6PM
📍River House

Guests will enjoy eight creative amuse-bouche bites paired with two wine options for each bite. Using guidance from a sommelier throughout the afternoon, participants will choose which wine they believe is the best pairing.

After each round, the sommelier will reveal the correct answer and explain why the pairing works, helping Guests better understand the fundamentals of wine pairing in an approachable and engaging way.

Thank you to our Director of Agronomy, Jake Wentz, for the quick tour and update on Old Orange. Looks like you could almost tee it up on some holes after only 15 weeks!!! Way to go team! The practice facilities are shaping up and will soon be green too.

Dear Verandah Members,

We wanted to provide an update regarding the upcoming closure of nature trail bridge that connects Holes #7 and #8 that is part of the Old Orange Renovation project. This will affect the nature trail coming from the Hammock Creek Way, Shady Bend, Cypress Marsh, and Winding River neighborhoods.

We anticipate the contractor will begin work during the week of July 20. Once construction begins, the bridge will be completely closed, making it impossible to use this section of the trail until the project is finished.

This is a comprehensive renovation that will include:
🔹 Replacement of the entire bulkhead wall surrounding the bridge
🔹 Installation of new handrails
🔹 Replacement of all bridge deck boards
🔹 Removal and replacement of the cracked concrete
🔹 Construction of new access ramps leading to the bridge

When completed, the entire structure will be brand new, providing a safer, more attractive, and longer-lasting crossing for everyone to enjoy.

We appreciate your patience and understanding during this temporary closure. While the short-term inconvenience is unavoidable, the finished project will be a significant improvement to one of the most scenic areas of our property.
