What the Members Don’t See: Long Mean No. 4 ⛳️

As our Long Mean Golf Course series continues, we’re taking you behind the scenes to see the work that goes into transforming each hole.

Hole No. 4 is taking shape from the ground up, beginning with demolition and excavation before moving into the shaping of the new green complex and greenside bunkers. With drainage and irrigation installed and new grass taking root, each stage brings the vision for Long Mean one step closer to reality.

Swipe through to see the transformation and get a look at what the members don’t see behind the renovation.

A Hole Coming to Life: Long Mean No. 7 ⛳️

As our Long Mean Golf Course series continues, hole No. 7 may still be a shorter Par 4, but its new design brings plenty of teeth!

Once a relatively straightforward hole No. 7 now asks golfers to think their way from tee to green. A new fairway bunker on the right makes the tee shot more demanding, while a narrow burn winds from the green complex toward the lake, bringing a new layer of strategy, and risk, to the approach.

Around the green, a stacked sod wall bunker, tighter playing areas, and redesigned contours create even more decisions. The smaller green slopes from back to front with a high point through the middle and falloffs on both sides, placing an even greater premium on accuracy.

Short in distance, but certainly not short on strategy. Hole 7 is coming to life as an exciting new test on the Long Mean.

A little shake, a little stir, and a whole lot of fun! 🍸✨

Our Mixology Class was an afternoon well spent as members stepped behind the bar to shake, stir, and sip their way through 3 different handcrafted cocktails.

At the end of the class, members voted for their favorite cocktail — and the winner is getting its moment in the spotlight! Fiddlesticks will be featuring the winning cocktail as a special on the menu for the week.

With great flavors, plenty of laughs, and a few new bartending skills, it was the perfect recipe for a memorable afternoon at Fiddlesticks.

Cheers! 🥂
