Last week, Jeremiah walked into Secor Strength for the first time. Today, after finishing his lift, Brandon and I were heading out for a 3.5-mile run and asked if he wanted to join us. Without hesitation, he said yes.

He absolutely crushed it.

There were a few moments where the run got tough and some mental barriers started to show up, but he kept pushing forward. That’s what separates good athletes from great ones. The athletes who learn to push through discomfort, doubt, and adversity over and over again are the ones who find the most success—not just in sports, but in life.

We’re incredibly proud of Jeremiah and the work he’s put in during such a short time. His willingness to step outside his comfort zone and attack challenges head-on tells me his future is bright.

Keep showing up. Keep pushing through. Great things happen on the other side of hard. 💪🏽🔥

We are incredibly thankful for the opportunity to meet and chat with Cassi with Caden’s Farm Fitness. Her passion, goals, and values align so closely with ours, and it was inspiring to hear her vision and story.

At Secor Strength, our mission has always been to help people become the best versions of themselves—not just physically, but mentally and emotionally as well. Building strength goes far beyond the gym, and connecting with like-minded individuals who share that mindset is something we truly value.

We loved the opportunity to get to know each other, share ideas, and build a connection. Finding people who encourage growth, positivity, and purpose—and having an outlet to pursue those goals together—is something truly special.

What’s the key to longevity in the gym?

It’s simple: keep showing up.

These two have done exactly that. Through life’s ups and downs, they’ve stayed committed to their health, supported one another, and continued putting in the work.

This year, they celebrate 46 years of marriage—a reminder that consistency, commitment, and showing up day after day pay off, both in and out of the gym.

Huge congratulations to Faith Shirbroun on tying the all-time St. Edmond softball home run record with her 29th career home run. Achievements like this don’t happen by accident—they’re built through years of commitment, discipline, and showing up when nobody is watching.

At Secor Strength, we’ve had the privilege of watching Faith put in the work day after day. This milestone is a reflection of the consistency, dedication, and effort she brings to her training and her sport.

HISTORY MADE! 💥⚾️ Senior Faith Shirbroun smashed her 29th career home run in our win over the Wildcats, tying the all-time St. Edmond record with Josie (Heesch) Harvey! Faith went 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and a double in a standout performance vs. Humboldt. Let’s hear it for Faith and the Gaels!

IRONMAN 70.3 OMAHA RELAY FINISHERS 🏊🚴🏃

Yesterday was a reminder that big goals are rarely accomplished alone.

Proud to stand alongside a great client and a great member of Secor Strength as we completed the Ironman 70.3 Omaha Relay. What started as a challenge turned into an unforgettable experience filled with teamwork, encouragement, and pushing through adversity together.

Crossing that finish line wasn’t just about earning a medal—it was about trusting the process, supporting one another, and finding out what we’re capable of when we commit to a goal.

Congratulations to our relay team on an incredible accomplishment. The finish line is just the reward for the work that was put in.
