Another great morning at Rise Kids! 💪🎉

Our 4-7 year olds worked on squats, push-ups, and hand-eye coordination before finishing with a fun challenge game trying to keep a piece of paper balanced on their bodies. Lots of laughs and movement!

Our 8-14 year olds also focused on squats and continued building skills toward a toes-to-bar by practicing hanging and controlled swings on the bar. They wrapped up the session with a medicine ball target game that brought out some friendly competition.

From learning new movements to building confidence and having fun with friends, both groups had an awesome morning staying active and growing stronger. We can’t wait to do it again next week!

Many people think that skipping meals or eating as little as possible is the best way to lose weight. But your body needs fuel to function, recover, and perform at its best.

Instead of focusing on what you need to cut out, try focusing on what you can add in:

✅ More protein to support muscle growth and keep you feeling full

✅ More fruits and vegetables for vitamins, minerals, and fiber

✅ More whole foods that provide lasting energy

✅ More water to support overall health and performance

When you fuel your body with nutrient-dense foods, you're giving it the energy it needs for workouts, daily activities, recovery, and long-term success.

Remember: Healthy eating isn't about starving yourself, it's about nourishing your body.

Focus on adding more of the foods that help you thrive, and let those habits lead the way.

RISE Kids – Day 1 Recap!

What an awesome first session with our RISE Kids crew! 💪🎉

Ages 8-14
We worked on foundational movement patterns, focusing on:
✅ Bodyweight squats
✅ Kettlebell swings

Building strong movement foundations now helps create confidence, coordination, and strength as they grow.

Ages 4-7
Our youngest athletes focused on pieces of a foundational movement while learning:
✅ Proper landing mechanics and foot placement
✅ Impact loading awareness
✅ Squats, bear crawls, and jumps

Both groups had a jam-packed session full of movement, learning, and FUN! We mixed skill work and workouts with games and plenty of opportunities to rest and recharge between activities.

It was great to see everyone working hard, encouraging each other, and having a blast while staying active. 🙌

📅 Our next session is Thursday!
Don’t forget, if you can’t commit to every session, you’re always welcome to drop in for a single class.

We can’t wait to see everyone back for Day 2!

Skating into the weekend like we survived another week of workouts, hormones, responsibilities, and probably forgetting what we walked into a room for 💁🏼‍♀️😂

But hey… we showed up. That counts.
