Introducing the new “Fly Assortment of the Week.”

12 of our favorite hand picked flies for some of the hottest fishing around. This week, the FAOTW is designed with Horsetooth Reservoir in mind: the Popper Dropper Assortment. The fishing on Horsetooth has been heating up, and it’s something we think everyone should get out and enjoy!

The Stillwater season is far from over!

Join us at the South Shop on Thurs, June 11th, from 5pm-6pm, for a FREE Stillwater Fishing Presentation with .alexander and . The two will be sharing their favorite mid-elevation lake tactics for June and the coming months, which are some of the most overlooked times of year to target stillwater trout. While rivers are often running high, lakes can provide consistent fishing, reliable hatches, and opportunities at both numbers and quality fish.

2026 Guide School is in the books! 🎉 Another great group of students ready to take their newfound skills and knowledge out into the field...

This marks St. Peter’s Fly Shop’s 16th year of Guide School, and there is just something so gratifying about the course. Seeing the lightbulbs go off both in the classroom and out on the water for the students is something that we hold near and dear to our hearts. Seeing what happens from here is just as rewarding. Taking the leap into the world of guiding can feel daunting, but it doesn’t have to be.
