e), and many stillwaters. Peter's Fly Shop is a community of friends doing what we love - fly fishing. Please note: Old Town shop is closed Sundays, South Shop is closed on Mondays.

We’d like you to meet Fern, one of the newest members of the shop dog staff and the D’Antonio family (Carlo D'Antonio). She wanted us to let you know that she is pretty excited about fall fishing in the canyon. She also wants to know if these cooler mornings give you the zoomies too?

Things are starting to change here in Northern Colorado. Cooler mornings, crisp air, and even the aspens at the top of the canyon are starting to show signs of fall. With the changing season comes a change in our local fisheries. The Poudre is back to lower flows, and that means adjusting your approach, flies, and presentations to find success.
~
Fall is one of our favorite times to be on the water, and we’re here to help you make the most of it. Check out our latest Fishing Reports before heading out (link in bio), or stop by the shop and pick our brains on what’s happening across our local waters. See you out there!

With fall just around the corner and cooler weather finally hitting the Front Range, our minds are turning to fall and all the great fishing that comes along with it.

Fall fishing is one time of year when being diverse in your presentations and fly selection is a must. Some days, fish may be sipping on tricos, while on others, a hopper or streamer is just the ticket.

Lead guide Josh Henriksen (Josh Henriksen) will give you the ins and outs of fishing in the fall and share some tricks you’ll want to have in your back pocket to make the most of our last few months of the season. The Simms Wader Repair Tour is swinging by our Old Town Shop on Thursday, September 17th, from 12 noon to 6 PM to get you hooked up with dry waders!

The first 40 customers to bring in their leaky waders will have the opportunity to get them repaired right here by the talented Simms Road Repair Crew. Nothing is worse than getting soaked in a pair of leaky waders. Don’t let that be your story this fall. Bring them by, get patched up, and stay dry on the water!

We are a divided shop when it comes to our local graduates and guides, and there is no bigger rivalry than between these two: Dawson (Brooke Rae) and Kellen (). There’s no doubt it’s a friendly rivalry, but rivalry creates competition, and who doesn’t love a good competition?
