We’re down to the final inning! Tomorrow (Friday, August 14th) is the final deadline to sign up players entering 5th through 12th grade for Fall Ball! ⚾🍂

We are stepping up to the plate to finalize our roster counts and lock in team registrations so we can submit them into the regional Silver Sluggers schedules. If you haven't secured your player's spot yet, don't let this opportunity slide!

With August almost here, the registration window for Fall Ball is closing soon! If you haven't secured your player's spot yet, now is the time to head over to fortyouthbaseball.com!

Fall Ball is designed specifically for skill development in a fun, relaxed environment. With all activities taking place exclusively on Sundays, it's the perfect way to keep building baseball skills without conflicting with school or traditional fall sports! 🍁⚾

We have two key sign-up dates to keep in mind as we finalize rosters and field schedules:

🗓️ Friday, August 14th — Roster Planning Date for 5th Grade & Older
To ensure we can properly organize and submit our 5th–12th grade team rosters into the regional Silver Sluggers schedules, please register players entering 5th grade and above by Friday, August 14th.

⚾ Friday, August 21st — K–4th Grade Clinics & Scrimmages
Families registering for our K–2nd, 3rd, and 4th Grade developmental clinic and scrimmage options have through Friday, August 21st to complete sign-ups!

🏆 HOSTING THE U10 REGIONAL TOURNAMENT AT MEMORIAL PARK! 🏆

Fort Youth Baseball was honored to host the Little League District 4 U10 Regional Tournament at Memorial Park this week!

It was an incredible week of baseball—all the teams played fantastic games, displayed great sportsmanship, and most importantly, fun was had by all!

A HUGE congratulations to Madison Kennedy for securing the Regional Championship title! 🥇👏

We wish the Madison Kennedy squad the best of luck as they advance to the State Championship tournament and continue their postseason run! Go represent our region well!

Thank you to all the teams, families, coaches, umpires, and volunteers who came out to Memorial Park and made this tournament such a great success! ⚾🔴⚪⚫

🚨 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TONIGHT & TOMORROW NIGHT! 🚨

Hey FYB Families!! Due to the weather reschedules for this week, schedule conflicts have left us short-handed for the U10 tournament games at Memorial Park tonight (Monday) and tomorrow night (Tuesday).

We are looking for 4 volunteers each day to help run the score tables!

⏱️ Shift Options:

Full Shift: 4:30 PM – 8:30 PM

Early Shift: 4:30 PM – 7:00 PM

Late Shift: 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM

Don't worry if you've never done it before—score table work is easy, and we will train you on the spot!

Keeping the score tables staffed is essential to keeping these tournament games running smoothly for the kids. If you can step in and cover a shift tonight or tomorrow night, please let us know as soon as possible!

🚨 IMPORTANT GAME UPDATE: CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULE DETAILS TONIGHT 🚨

Tonight’s U10 and U12 tournament team games scheduled at both Memorial Park and in Madison are canceled for this evening.

💨 Why we are canceling:
Player and family safety is our top priority. The Air Quality Index (AQI) safe boundary for prolonged exterior events is 200 or under, and the WIAA recommends that outdoor activities be curtailed or canceled at that point. As of right now, the local AQI is sitting at 242 and is not expected to improve much this evening until the winds coming with the rain help move the smoke out of the area.

🗓️ Reschedule Plan:

U10 Teams: Games are rescheduled for next week, Monday through Wednesday, at Memorial Park.

U12 Teams: Games are rescheduled for tomorrow night (Friday) at West Madison and will now be played as a doubleheader!

Please keep a close eye on your GameChanger app for official updates from your coaches regarding specific rescheduled game times, arrival times, and field locations.

⚾ That’s a final on an unforgettable summer season! ⚾

What an incredible ride it has been. From the very first pitch in May to the final outs of our end-of-season tournaments, this summer was one for the record books.

Behind every scoreboard tally was a season full of shared laughs, a few hard-fought tears, lifelong friendships formed, and memories made both on and off the diamond.

An unforgettable season like this doesn't happen by accident. It takes an entire community pulling together. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU to:

Our Players: For your hustle, sportsmanship, and heart. You kept us cheering all summer long.

The Parents, Families, & Fans: For the endless carpools, the loudest cheers in the bleachers, and your unwavering support through every inning.

Our Coaches & Volunteers: For donating your time, patience, and leadership to guide our athletes.

Our Umpires: For stepping up to keep the games fair, safe, and moving.

The Concession Stand Crew: For keeping everyone fueled and serving up those legendary FYB burgers all summer long! 🍔

This summer was packed with unforgettable moments: from the high-stakes thrills of our league tournaments to the pure joy of the super fun whiffle ball tournament and the Home Run Derby. We watched our players smash a few incredible home runs, and we made lasting memories off our home fields during our Youth Nights at the Blackhawks and Generals games, including some amazing ceremonial first pitches!

📢 FALL BALL 2026 DETAILS ARE HERE! 📢

We are excited to share the official details for our 2026 Fall Ball program! Fall Ball is a fantastic developmental experience designed to keep players' skills sharp, focus on skill enhancement, and keep having fun on the diamond in a more relaxed environment.

🗓️ SUNDAYS ONLY: All clinics and games take place on Sundays so families can easily balance traditional fall sports and school schedules.
🏆 GAMES AT EVERY LEVEL: There will be games or scrimmages at every single tier!
🌍 OPEN TO ALL: These are open programs with no residency requirements.

Registration officially goes live THIS SUNDAY at fortyouthbaseball.com!

Here is the complete breakdown for each division:

🧢 K–2nd Grades: Instructional Clinics & Scrimmages
Dates: Sept 13, 20, 27; Oct 4, 11
Location: Ralph Park
Format: 1 hour of direct instruction followed immediately by a 1-hour internal scrimmage against fellow FYB players.
Times: Choose either morning (10:30 AM–12:30 PM) or afternoon (1:00 PM–3:00 PM) during registration.
Cost: $65

👟 3rd & 4th Grades: Developmental Clinics & Scrimmages
Dates: Sept 13, 20, 27; Oct 4, 11
Location: Ralph Park
Format: Skills clinic from 3:00 PM–4:00 PM, followed immediately by an internal scrimmage from 4:00 PM–5:00 PM.
Cost: $65

⭐ 4th Grade: Fall League Team
Dates: Sept 13, 20, 27; Oct 4, 11
Location: Ralph Park (Clinics) & Memorial Park D3 (Games)
Format: Formal league game play against neighboring communities (doubleheaders; morning or afternoon).
Bonus: Registered players also get optional access to Sunday afternoon clinics as their game schedule permits!
Cost: $110 (includes games and optional clinics)

💥 5th–7th Grades: Silver Sluggers League
Dates: Sept 13, 20, 27; Oct 4, 11
Location: Memorial Park (Fields D1 & D2)
Format: Balanced FYB rosters entered into the regional Silver Sluggers circuit against Madison-area teams. Morning or afternoon doubleheaders.
Cost: $135

🪵 8th–12th Grades: Silver Sluggers Wood Bat League
Dates: Sept 6, 13, 20, 27; Oct 4, 11 (Note: Starts one week earlier!)
Location: Fort High School (Holiday Inn Field) & select Madison-area fields.
Format: Strict wood-bat-only league. Teams organized at the 8th-grade, 9th-grade, and combined 10th–12th grade levels to fit roster and competition needs. We have wood bats available for players to share! Doubleheader format.
Cost: $150

🏆⚾ TOURNAMENT WEEK IS HERE! ⚾🏆

We are thrilled to officially share the tournament schedule for next week! 🗓️👇 Our players have worked incredibly hard all season, and we can't wait to watch them leave it all on the field during this final week of play.

Mid-summer is peak baseball season, and our friends at the JBB traveling league will also be hosting games on a few diamonds during our usual ballpark evenings. Because of this, we have shifted a few of our FYB tournament game times around to make the master schedule work. We're really looking forward to a high-energy week at the complex—at the end of the day, it's all about making sure every child in our community has the opportunity to experience the joy of baseball, no matter what jersey they are wearing! ❤️

If you have some down time between your player's tournament games, we encourage you to wander over to a JBB diamond, support a friend, or just cheer on more great local ballplayers. It’s a wonderful opportunity to come together and celebrate the fantastic youth baseball community we are so lucky to have here in Fort! 🤝🌟

While we are focused on wrapping up our summer season with a bang, don't pack away the cleats just yet! 🤫 Details for our Fall Ball program are being finalized right now and will be dropping next week.
