This is officially the busiest, most action-packed week of the Fort Youth Baseball season! We have a ton of exciting events, schedule shifts, and tournaments happening over the next few days.

Here is your ultimate guide to staying in the loop for this whirlwind week:

1️⃣ 🌭 YOUTH NIGHT AT THE GENERALS GAME! (Thursday, 7:00 PM)
Come out and support our local home team at Jones Park! It’s always a fantastic night for our players to watch high-level local baseball and hang out with their teammates.

📢 Perks: Don't forget to wear your jerseys and hats for a free hot dog and water!

⚾ Bonus: Bring your glove to play catch on the field before the game!!

2️⃣ 🤖 MACHINE PITCH TOURNAMENT! (Saturday, June 27th)
The big weekend is finally here for our Machine Pitch (AAA) players! All games will be played this Saturday at Memorial Park. Individual team schedules should already be posted directly to your GameChanger apps, but you can view the complete schedule attached: 👇UPDATED SCHEDULE!!!

3️⃣ 🚀 FYB HOME RUN DERBY! (Sunday, 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM)
Join us on Diamond 1 for the ultimate confidence-booster!

📈 Age Groups: 1st–2nd Grade and 3rd–6th Grade divisions.

🏆 Prizes: Awesome awards will be given out to everyone who makes the final rounds!

💪 The Goal: Don't worry if your player isn't hitting balls over the fence yet—this event is all about teaching kids how to swing hard, make solid contact, and build massive batting confidence!

4️⃣ 🗓️ SCHEDULE SHIFT: MINORS GAMES ON TUESDAY!
Heads up, Minors families! Some of our Minors division games will be played on Tuesday night this week instead of their usual Wednesday night slot. Please double-check your GameChanger app right now to ensure you have the correct game and arrival times!

5️⃣ ✈️ TOURNAMENT TEAMS HEAD TO CAMBRIDGE!
Our FYB Tournament Teams are officially kicking off their competitive travel schedules! Our very first tournament games will be played this Friday and Saturday at the Cambridge Tournament. Best of luck to all of our players representing Fort Youth Baseball on the road—bring home some wins! 🎉🏆

☀️⚾ THE PONY GAME IS UNDERWAY AT JONES PARK! ⚾☀️

It is an absolutely gorgeous Saturday morning down here on the Big Diamond, and our Fort Youth Baseball Pony players are officially out on the field! 🎉🙌

If you aren't here yet, throw on your FYB jersey, grab a lawn chair, and head on down to Jones Park right now to pack the stands and cheer them on! 📣 Let's show these guys some massive hometown support!

While you're watching the action, here are a couple of awesome baseball trivia facts to share in the stands about how these leagues got their names:

💡 Did you know?
• PONY League: "PONY" isn’t just about the size of the players—it's actually an acronym for Protect Our Nation's Youth! It’s a massive, international organization founded in the 1950s specifically designed to help players transition smoothly from smaller Little League fields to full-sized diamonds.

• BROOKS League: You’ve probably heard of the regional high school-aged "Land O' Brooks" league. This program is specially designed to give teenagers a fantastic opportunity to play highly competitive summer baseball if they aren't currently on a varsity high school roster.
The weather is perfect, the concession stand is smelling amazing, and the baseball is top-notch. See you at the ballpark! 🍔🍟🍦

☀️⚾ ATTENTION FYB: PACK THE STANDS TOMORROW! ⚾☀️

After all the rainy weather we've had lately, it’s finally time for a weekend packed with baseball! We want to encourage all of our youth players to head down to Jones Park for the 24th Annual Baseball Festival to support our local teams and catch some great games.

🌟 SPECIAL HIGHLIGHT: FYB Pony Teams on the Big Diamond! 🌟
Tomorrow morning, Saturday, June 20th at 9:00 AM, a featured game showcasing players from our very own Fort Youth Baseball Pony Teams will take place on the Big Diamond at Jones Park!

Let's show them some major league support! We are asking all FYB players to WEAR THEIR TEAM JERSEYS down to the park tomorrow morning to cheer on our FYB Pony players! 📣 Let's turn those stands into a sea of FYB colors!

Beyond the 9:00 AM game, there is a full weekend of fun for the whole family, including:
⚾ Lots of Baseball: Junior Legion, Senior Legion, the Home Run Derby, and the Fort Atkinson Generals playing all weekend long!
🎡 Family Fun: A Midway carnival with rides and games, a K-9 Unit Demonstration (Saturday at 10 AM), face painting, and a bags tournament!
🍔 Great Food: Delicious eats from the Generals' concession stand, plus awesome local food trucks!

Weekend

The Fort Atkinson Generals, play wood bat baseball primarily on Thursday nights and Sunday afternoon throughout the spring and summer. Admission is free and affordable concessions are available with proceeds benefiting area teams & ball park improvements.

🌟 BIG EVENTS AHEAD: Generals Night & End-of-Season Fun! 🌟

Fort Youth Baseball families, we have a massive lineup of events as we head into the home stretch of the season! Mark your calendars for these three big events:

1️⃣ ⚾️ FYB NIGHT WITH THE FORT ATKINSON GENERALS
Our players are getting the true VIP ballpark experience at Jones Park! Come out to support our local home team and let the kids experience some awesome traditions.

When: Thursday, June 25th, 2026

Game Time: 7:30 PM (Players arrive by 7:00 PM)

What to Wear: FYB Uniforms (jerseys & hats - and don't forget your baseball gloves!)

🔥 Player Perks:

Play Catch with the Pros: Kids get to head onto the field before the game to play catch right alongside the Generals players!

National Anthem: Players will stand out on the field for the National Anthem.

Free Treats: Every youth player attending in uniform gets a FREE hot dog and water at the concession stand!

2️⃣ 🏆 MACHINE PITCH (AAA) TOURNAMENT
When: Saturday, June 27th, 2026

The Scoop: The big end-of-season tournament for our AAA division is locked in! Every team is guaranteed at least two games. Stay tuned—more details and exact schedules are coming your way soon.

3️⃣ 🚀 THE FYB HOME RUN DERBY
When: Sunday, June 28th, 2026

The Scoop: It’s time to showcase that power! Start practicing those big swings for one of our favorite annual league traditions. Full details on times and registration are dropping soon.

☀️ WHAT A SPECTACULAR DAY! ☀️

Wow, FYB Families... what an incredible event!

Mother Nature finally gave us a perfect, sun-drenched day on Saturday, and the 2026 Mid-Season Wiffleball Spectacular was an absolute home run! 🥳⚾💥

From the very first pitch at 10:00 AM to the final swings of the afternoon, Memorial Park was buzzing with non-stop fun, high energy, and pure joy. Seeing the kids step into their GM shoes, take the field with their buddies, and run the show on the grass diamonds was exactly what backyard baseball is all about!

An event like this takes a village, and we want to send a massive THANK YOU to everyone who made it happen:

🙌 Our Amazing Players: You brought the hustle and some seriously impressive Wiffleball skills!

📣 The Parents: Thank you for cheering from the lawn chairs, helping coordinate dream teams, and matching the kids' energy all day long.

👑 The Coaches & Umpires: Thank you for keeping the games moving, keeping things fair, and letting the kids take the lead to build those awesome leadership skills!

🍔 Our Rock Star Volunteers: From setting up the grass fields to flipping those legendary big daddy burgers, we literally couldn't have done this without you!

🏆 THE GRAND FINALE: BOARD MEMBERS VS. PONY/UMPIRES 🏆
To cap off an already action-packed day, we rounded things out with a super fun, completely informal exhibition game: The FYB Board Members vs. the Pony Team & Umpires! 🤪 Let’s just say there was plenty of laughter, a lot of competitive spirit, and definitely a few sore muscles on the Board's side. It was the perfect way to wrap up an unforgettable weekend!

Come on down to Memorial Park today (Saturday, June 13) for the Fort Youth Baseball Wiffleball Spectacular. Fun to watch, great community, fantastic concession stand open to all!! Great service and yummy food — and if that isn’t enough to get you to come in out, 50% of the concession proceeds and 100% of tips will go to Jase Block’s family.
