A very welcome expansion to my garage sign collection is this Artic Cat vintage sign from the 70s. This sign was offered by a friend with a history of owning an Artic Cat family run dealership for many decades. My next steps include illuminating the sign and sourcing additional signs from Polaris and Ski-Doo to ensure a complete collection.

‼️Trail Permit Update‼️

Beginning this season, Michigan snowmobile trail permits will increase from $52 to $65.

The updated rate will stay in effect through September 30, 2031, and is tied to inflation adjustments required by state law.

It’s important to remember that Michigan’s snowmobile trail system is funded directly by permit and registration dollars — not general tax funding. Those dollars help support trail grooming, signage, maintenance, and the countless volunteer hours put in by local snowmobile clubs across the state.

Your permit helps keep the trails open, groomed, and ready to ride. ❄️
