One of the best ways to build confidence is to give children the chance to use their own voice.

When someone asks your child a question, pause before jumping in. Let them think, answer, explainā€”and occasionally get it wrong. Those small moments prepare them for much bigger ones later.

Sometimes building better kids means resisting the urge to provide the solution. šŸ„‹

Listen carefully. Get curious. Then make the decision that comes with being the parent.

Our childrenā€™s feelings matterā€”and they deserve to be heard. But feelings donā€™t always have to make the decision.
