Tonight we played a tough scrimmage against the 2017 Saginaw Jr. Spirit. The game started a little rocky, but our players really showed up and showed out! We are so proud of our team for their amazing efforts tonight and are SUPER EXCITED for what’s to come! LET’S GO BIRDS!

Hi everyone, Hopefully all of the kids summer are off to a good start! Here is our next fundraising opportunity!

“Fill My Jersey”
Friends and family can donate which ever dollar amounts they wish and you can “fill” it by coloring it in until your jersey is full! (Example: grandma wants to donate $20 so you fill in one of the $20 spots on the jersey)

We are asking that everyone try to fill a jersey, the money will collectively go towards the whole team to help pay for jerseys and ice!

After your jersey is full you can then send your players total to the team Venmo!

For Facebook you can start with
“Friends and family! Please help the 2016 Jr Firebirds by filling my Jersey! By donating you will be helping our team with jersey costs!”

🏒🔥 STANLEY CUP CLINCHING GAME FUNDRAISER – BOARD IS FULL! 🔥🏒

First, THANK YOU to everyone who purchased a square and is supporting the 2016 Jr. Flint Firebirds! Your support helps our team continue to grow, compete, and create great experiences for our players.

We did discover a mistake in the original game setup. A few squares represented outcomes that cannot actually happen in a Stanley Cup Final game (such as OT-OT and EN-EN).

To keep things fair:
✅ The OT-OT and EN-EN squares have been refunded and removed from the board.

We also realized that tie-score squares (1-1, 2-2, 3-3, 4-4, 5-5, and 6+-6+) could never win the main prize because Stanley Cup games cannot end in a tie.

🏒 NEW BONUS RULE 🏒

If the score is tied at the end of regulation, the matching tie-score square will win a $100 bonus prize!

Examples:
• Score is 2-2 after regulation = 2-2 square wins $100
• Score is 3-3 after regulation = 3-3 square wins $100
• Score is 1-1 after regulation = 1-1 square wins $100

🏆 The MAIN PRIZE remains unchanged:
The winning square based on the FINAL score of the Stanley Cup clinching game will still win $500!

We apologize for the oversight and hope everyone understands. We wanted to make sure every square on the board had a fair opportunity to win something.
