On behalf of the 2026 High School Hockey Alumni Tournament, we extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who made this past weekend’s 15th annual event such a success.
Over three incredible days, we hosted 54 games, welcoming 29 teams and more than 350 players to the ice. We’re sure the sore muscles and lingering aches are a small reminder of just how much fun—and competition—was packed into the weekend.
What truly makes this event special, however, is the spectators. Seeing parents and grandparents cheering on their “little old guys,” spouses and children filling the stands, and former coaches and longtime fans reconnecting through high school hockey brought hundreds of people together in the best possible way.
Most importantly, thanks to everyone’s generosity, the ultimate benefactors of this tournament are the Old Newsboys of Flint and the Michigan Youth Hockey Support Program. Your support allows us to give back—not only to the hockey community we love, but to the broader community as well.
Thank you for being part of something so meaningful. 🏒❤️
