💗🏒 A HARD-FOUGHT BATTLE FOR AN EVEN BIGGER CAUSE! 🎀🔥

Our 2017 Flint Jr. Firebirds officially kicked off the regular season of our inaugural year today, taking on Little Caesars Farmington Hills during the Eastern Michigan Hockey Association "PINK OUT THE RINK" event!

While the scoreboard didn't fall in our favor, these boys showed up to battle and gave it everything they had! 💪🏼🔥

From the first puck drop to the final buzzer, they worked hard, battled, and never gave up! Not every game will end with a win, but every game is an opportunity to learn, grow, and come back stronger!

And today was about so much more than just hockey! 🩷

We were honored to be part of such a special event, coming together as a hockey community to support those fighting cancer, celebrate survivors, remember loved ones, and spread hope to those who need it most. All proceeds from today's event will be given to a local mom who is battling breast cancer!

We're proud of our boys and excited for everything this season has in store! This is just the beginning of our journey, and we can't wait to watch this team continue to grow!

👏 A big thank-you to our coaches, families, fans, and everyone who helped make today's Pink Out the Rink event so special! Huge thank you to one of our team sponsors, Bongiornos Pizza! We came together as a team after the game and were able to hang our and enjoy some of their awesome pizza together
