The Hunterdon Flutterwheels Square Dance Club is a vibrant dance community that embraces Western Square Dancing. We dance an alternating Mainstream and Plus program at the Hunterdon County Complex on the first and third Fridays from mid-September to early June. Not only do we enjoy dancing together, we build friendships. Our members are what makes us a great group of people to be around. Visit one

of our dances and find out for yourself! Learn to Square Dance. The Flutterwheels sponsor beginner's square dance lessons each year in cooperation with the Hunterdon County Division of Parks and Recreation. Our club caller makes lessons fun and our experienced club members lend a hand. Come join the fun - our next Open House is on Sunday, September 14, 2025 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.

As one dance season came to a close & a new one commenced, 40 dancers enjoyed this year’s ice cream social dance! We danced with guests from three other clubs to alternating tips called by Paul Ingis.

Our last club dance of the 2025-26 season features calls by Paul Ingis!

Along with hosting our annual ice cream social, we’re paying tribute to this outdoor entertainment phenomenon by recognizing National Drive-in Movie Day.

Bring in your favorite movie snack or ice cream topping to share as we enjoy ice cream between tips.

It’s a dual theme event of Mainstream graduation/commencement & recognition of World Sea Turtle Day!

Please note that the VENUE is a CHANGE for this dance: Hunterdon County Senior Center on Gauntt Place in Flemington (just north of the Hunterdon Medical Center off Route 31 South).
