This is a gentle reminder that no matter what you are going through today, Jesus sees you.

He sees the parts of your story that no one else knows. He sees the tears you cry when no one is around. He sees the fears you try to hide, the burdens you carry, and the questions you wrestle with.

He sees your mistakes, your failures, and every reason you think you are unworthy—and He chose the cross anyway.

The world may tell you that your value comes from what you do, how you look, what you achieve, or what others think about you. But Jesus says your worth was settled in His finished work on the cross.

When Jesus looked at people throughout Scripture, He didn’t just see their circumstances. He saw their hearts. He saw the woman at the well. He saw Zacchaeus in the tree. He saw the blind man on the side of the road. And He sees you today.

Not as a project to fix.
Not as a disappointment.
Not as someone who has to earn His love.

He sees you as someone worth pursuing, redeeming, and loving.

Friend, if you’re feeling overlooked, forgotten, or unseen today, remember this: the God who created the stars knows your name. The Savior who conquered death sees YOU right where you are and promises to never leave you nor forsake you.

You are seen.
You are known.
You are loved.

You are fearfully and wonderfully made! 🤍

✌🏽Two things I’m especially grateful for today: these sweet girls who came to serve alongside me and Disciple Groups! 🥳

You may have heard people talk about Disciple Groups before, but why should you take the step and join one?

Because we were never meant to follow Jesus alone.

Disciple Groups help you:

✅ Deepen your understanding of God’s Word
✅ Know others and be truly known
✅ Experience encouragement and accountability
✅ Find your “mat carriers”—the people who will carry you to Jesus on your ‘mat’ when you’re struggling—no matter the cost, pray for you, and celebrate what God is doing in your life

If you’ve followed me for any length of time, you know I’m passionate about Gospel-centered community. I truly believe we need people around us who know us deeply, speak truth in love, and continually point us back to Jesus.

Disciple Groups are one of the best places to find those people.

If you’re interested in getting connected but aren’t sure where to start, send me a message. I’d love to help you find a group!

You are fearfully and wonderfully made. 🤍

Have you ever felt like God was silent?

Maybe you’ve prayed the same prayer over and over. Maybe you’re walking through a season that feels heavy, confusing, or lonely. Maybe you’ve wondered, “Lord, where are You?”

Psalm 22 begins with these words:

“My God, my God, why have You forsaken me?”

David wasn’t afraid to bring his honest feelings before the Lord. He felt abandoned. He felt alone. He felt the weight of suffering.

And if we’re honest, many of us have been there too.

But what I love about Scripture is that it doesn’t stop in Psalm 22.

Just ONE chapter later, we read in the first verse of Psalm 23:

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.”

I LOVE the dramatic heart posture shift between these two chapters because David moved from focusing on what he FELT to remembering what he KNEW to be true about God.

Friend, your feelings are real and they are a good gift from God to help you navigate your life, but they should never be worshipped above the truth of God’s Word. Scripture is always reliable and true, while our feelings can be far from it.

The truth is that God has never left you.

Even when you feel like you can’t hear Him.
Even when you feel like your prayers are going unanswered.
Even when you feel overwhelmed.
Even when you feel alone.

Jesus is still the Good Shepherd.

He is still leading, guiding, protecting, and providing—even when you can’t see OR feel it.

One of my favorite promises in Scripture is from Hebrews 13 verse 5 where we are reminded the truth about who our Heavenly Father is— that He will NEVER leave us or forsake us.

Today, if you’re in a Psalm 22 season, keep holding on. Keep bringing your honest heart before the Lord. And ask Him to help you move toward the confidence of Psalm 23.

Because even when you can’t feel His presence, He has not gone anywhere.

You are seen.
You are known.
You are loved.

And you are never walking alone. You are fearfully and wonderfully made! 🤍

This is a shoutout post to my hubby for planning a mini staycation for us this past weekend! 🫶🏽

I got to REST a bunch and do a lot of my favorite things—but my fave was doing absolutely NOTHING with my best friend haha.

THIS GUY. I’m thankful that he plans time for us to pause together in the midst of this full life God has blessed us with.

And a huge thank you to our moms for answering Jon’s call and loving on our babies while we were ‘away.’ Y’all are the real MVPs! 🤍

Have you ever wondered if your exercise habits are healthy or if they might be controlling you?

Before I go any further, let me just say—exercise itself is not the problem.

Movement is a good gift from God. Our bodies were created to move, work, play, serve, and enjoy His creation. God did not create exercise to be worshipped, but He also didn’t create it to be feared or avoided.

Exercise is simply one way we can steward the bodies He has entrusted to us. But many times, something that starts as stewardship can slowly become slavery.

Exercise compulsion happens when movement is no longer a choice but rather it feels like a requirement.

So, how do you know if I’m talking about you? You may be struggling with exercise compulsion if:

• You feel intense guilt, anxiety, or shame when you miss a workout.
• Your mood for the day depends on whether or not you exercised.
• You continue exercising despite illness, injury, or exhaustion.
• Exercise becomes more important than relationships, responsibilities, or rest.
• You believe you must “earn” food through exercise.
• Your identity feels tied to your workouts or fitness level.

At its core, exercise compulsion isn’t really about exercise. It’s often about control, fear, identity, or trying to find worth in something other than Christ.

The good news? Jesus came to set us FREE.

Freedom doesn’t mean never exercising—it means being able to move your body from a place of gratitude rather than obligation. It means resting when needed and knowing your worth never changes based on your workout streak, calories burned, pace, or performance.

Your body was never meant to be your master—it was designed to be a vessel for worship.

If this post feels a little too familiar, please know that you’re not alone. There is hope, healing, and freedom available to you in Christ.

One of the enemy’s favorite tactics in eating disorder recovery is isolation.

He wants you to believe that no one understands—that you should keep struggling quietly and that asking for help is a sign of weakness.

But God designed us differently. He designed us to be in a deep, abiding relationship with Him AND to have close relationships with others.

We need people who will remind us of what is true when our feelings are loud. People who will point us back to Jesus when we are tempted to believe lies about food, our bodies, and/or our worth. People who will speak the truth in love, encourage us when we’re weary, and walk beside us when recovery feels hard.

Hebrews 10:24-25 reminds us to “consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together.” God never intended for us to fight our battles in isolation. We need other believers who will encourage us, challenge us, pray for us, and continually point us back to Jesus.

Recovery isn’t just about changing behaviors—it’s about allowing God to transform our hearts and minds. And often, He does that in community.

If you’re struggling with food, body image, or exercise, please know this: you do not have to do this alone.

There is a Gospel-centered community over at helping women find freedom in Christ through recovery meetings and discipleship. This ministry isn’t meant to replace professional care when it’s needed, but is made of individuals committed to pointing one another to Jesus, speaking truth in love, and walking alongside each other in our recovery journeys.

So, if you find you are struggling today, please know: there IS hope, there is help, and there is a seat for you here.

Working out with your kids around this summer?☀️

It may not be peaceful or perfectly planned but the truth is—there is a certain sweetness to the chaos because it won’t last forever.

A few tips if you’re trying to move your body in this season of motherhood:

1️⃣ Remember the BIG picture. Try to focus on this truth: Your kids joining your workout is NOT an inconvenience—it’s a blessing. You are teaching them what it looks like to steward their bodies well. Working out with your kids can be a great opportunity for discipleship. And don’t we all know as parents—they are watching far more than they are listening.

2️⃣ Expect interruptions. Someone will probably need a snack, ask a million questions, climb on your back during pushups, or start crying halfway through. And all of that is OKAY. Flexibility is part of the season you’re in.

3️⃣ Be full of grace. Your workout may not look like it used to—and that doesn’t make it less valuable. Faithfulness > perfection every single time.

4️⃣ Have fun!! Laugh with them. Let them join in. Dance between sets. These moments matter more than a perfectly uninterrupted workout ever will.

Your kids don’t need a perfect mom. They need a mom who is present, joyful, and showing them what it looks like to care for the body God gave you.

You are fearfully and wonderfully made! 🤍

Today we honor and remember the ultimate sacrifice so many have made for our freedom. There are no words to describe how thankful I am to live in our country and without the bravery of those who have gone before us, it wouldn’t be possible.

THANK YOU to all of our past and present military families for your service. We could never truly understand your sacrifice but are just so grateful.

I wanted to share the ‘Murph’ WOD today just in case you were looking for some workout inspo. Many of you are familiar with it, but just in case you aren’t— the Murph is a classic CrossFit workout known as a Hero WOD. Hero WODs are made by CrossFit to honor men and women that have fallen in the line of duty. This one was made specifically to honor Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy, who was killed in action in Afghanistan on June 28th, 2005.

This is the official Murph and may be too advanced for some. Remember, tweaking/modifying workouts to fit your fitness level is a GOOD thing as it will help you avoid injury and have better form.

I hope you give it a try and Happy Memorial Day! 🇺🇸

Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his
