Goldfish Swim School - Fishers Teaching kids how to swim is our passion. Goldfish is much more than a swim school. Goldfish prides itself on offering each parent and child a Golden Experience.

Goldfish Swim School – Fishers is a state-of-the art swimming facility dedicated to teaching children as early as 4 months how to swim. From the moment you walk in the door, you enter a tropical oasis. Brightly colored walls, tiki cabanas and surfboard benches surrounding our island-style hair drying station border our pool, abuzz with the sounds of kids kicking and hands-on swimming instruction. At the pool deck, kids dive into an always-tropical 90-degree pool. In a class size of no more than 4 children to 1 swim instructor, children master the skills they need to be safe and confident in the water. Beginning as early as 4 months, children progress through a series of perpetual swimming lessons, graduating to higher levels of difficulty as swimming skills are mastered. Goldfish also offers special events like birthday parties, family swim, accelerated Jump Start Clinics and our Recreational Swim Team, catered to swimmers who have completed the Goldfish Pro Level. Goldfish Swim School – Fishers is proud to help teach the children of great community of Indianapolis, IN how to swim and be safer in the water. General Manager Andrew Joseph encourages you to stop by for a tour of our facilities. We guarantee you’ll love it at Goldfish! To learn more, please visit www.goldfishswimschool.com.

“My child can swim now…so when should we stop swim lessons?” 🤔

It’s a great question, and there isn’t one milestone that means every swimmer is officially “done.”

Learning to swim is a progression. As kiddos become more comfortable and independent in the water, there are still opportunities to strengthen their technique, build endurance and develop more advanced swimming and water safety skills. 🏊

So instead of asking, “Are they done?” try asking:

“What are they ready to work on next?” 💡

Your child’s swim instructor can help you understand where they are in their swim journey, the progress they’ve made and which skills they’re working toward next.

Because being able to swim is a BIG accomplishment. Continuing to build on those skills? That’s how progress keeps moving forward. 🧡

They outgrow the tiny sandals. The swimsuits. The impossibly cute cover-ups. (Way too fast, if you ask us. 🥹)

But the skills they’re building? Those can grow right along with them. 🧡

Every kick, breath, float and pull your little fish works on today is part of becoming a stronger, more independent swimmer tomorrow.

Because learning to swim isn’t just about what they can do in this week’s lesson. It’s about building skills they can continue strengthening through every splash, swim and water-filled adventure ahead. 🌊

That’s progress worth sticking with. 🐠

Ever wonder what your child’s swim instructor is watching for? 👀

They’re watching how your swimmer moves through the water, responds to different cues, where they’re getting stronger and which skills could use a little more practice. Then, they can meet your kiddo where they are and help them work toward what comes next. 🏊

It’s what makes our curriculum so effective: skills build on one another, while our instructors help each swimmer keep progressing at their own pace. 🧡

Because the next step looks different for every swimmer, and knowing what to work on next is a big part of making progress.

Next lesson, ask your little fish: “What are you working on today?”

You might be surprised by how much they know. 😉🐠

When the thing they’ve been working SO hard on finally clicks… 🥹👏

Maybe it’s the float they couldn’t quite get. The stroke they’ve practiced week after week. Swimming farther on their own. Or hearing those magic words: “You’re moving up!” 🎉

The BIG milestones are worth celebrating, but so are all the little wins it took to get there.

Because progress isn’t just about the next level. It’s every new skill, stronger stroke, and proud “I DID IT!” along the way. 🧡

"Should my child take swim lessons year-round?"

We're officially in the "ber" months, and if you're wondering whether it's time to hit pause on swim lessons, here's something to consider: swimming is a skill that gets stronger with consistent practice. 🏊‍♂️

Year-round swim lessons give kiddos regular opportunities to keep practicing the skills they've learned, work toward new ones and continue building confidence and independence in the water.

Because progress doesn't have to end when pool season does. 🍂➡️🐠
Those fall and winter lessons? They're helping your little fish keep working toward the swimmer they'll be next summer, and beyond.🧡

"What if my child is scared of swim lessons?"
If your kiddo clings a little tighter before class, feels unsure about getting in or needs extra time before trying a new skill, you're probably wondering: Should I keep going?

Feeling nervous around something new can take time to work through.
That's why progress doesn't always look like swimming across the pool.

Sometimes progress looks like getting in the water. 💧
Putting their face in for the first time.
Trying the skill they said "no" to last week.
Or getting out of the pool saying, "I did it!" ☺️

Those small wins matter. With consistent opportunities to practice and support from their swim instructor, kiddos can work toward greater comfort and confidence at their own pace. 🧡

What small swim win are you celebrating lately?

Ever watch swim lessons and think, "Wait...didn't they practice that last week?" 👀
Yep, and there's a reason! 🙌

Those kicks, pulls, crab walks, breaths, and floats get stronger with practice. Consistent lessons give kiddos the chance to keep working on what they know while building the skills they're ready to tackle next.

So when you see your little fish doing it AGAIN (and again...and again 😅), know that repetition is helping turn practice into progress.🧡

P.S. Who can tell us the name of our octopus friend shown here? Bonus points if you can tell us why we included her! 🐙

This October, we're celebrating IMAGINATION! 💭✨

Because before a little fish can say, "I did it!" sometimes it starts with imagining, "I wonder if I can..." 🧡

Whether they're dreaming BIG, discovering something new or seeing just how much they're capable of, we love watching kiddos turn possibilities into proud moments.

Here's to a month of imagining what's possible, and making waves along the way! 🐠🌊
