Over the past four months, Veronica has made tremendous progress in her training. She has become more focused, works incredibly hard during Black Belt practice, and consistently shows respect to both her instructors and fellow students.

What makes Veronica truly special is her genuine love for martial arts. She comes to every class with a positive attitude, gives her best effort, and makes the most of every training session.

This week’s Martial Arts Spotlight shines on an incredible mom who joined our Action Karate family just last month—Ms. Katie!

Inspired by her daughter, Luna Grace, Ms. Katie decided to step onto the mat in May, and she hasn’t looked back since. From day one, she has shown tremendous dedication to her training, consistently attending class and giving her best effort every time.

We are so proud of Ms. Katie’s hard work, commitment, and positive attitude. She is a wonderful example of how it’s never too late to start something new and challenge yourself.

Today we recognize an exceptional mom and a true superstar in our Adult Class: Ms. Hellem!

After spending years cheering on her daughters and son from the sidelines, she decided to step onto the mat herself a little over a year ago—and she has been thriving ever since. From day one, Ms. Hellem has embraced every challenge with enthusiasm, determination, and a positive attitude. This summer, she is proudly participating in her second HIT Team, continuing to push herself to new heights.

Ms. Hellem is an inspiration to all of us. Her commitment to her martial arts journey is outstanding, but what truly sets her apart is her kindness, generosity, and genuine desire to help others. She leads by example both on and off the mat, showing that strength is measured not only by skill, but also by the size of your heart.

This week’s Martial Arts Spotlight shines on an outstanding Ninja who gives her best in every class—Charlie!

From her very first lesson, Charlie has been excited to be part of the Action Karate family. Her dedication to training and positive attitude make her a joy to teach.

One of Charlie’s greatest strengths is how well she works with others. She is always a kind, encouraging partner and sets a wonderful example for her fellow Ninjas. She actively participates in every class, demonstrates excellent focus, and is already showing leadership qualities at such a young age.

Martial Arts Spotlight

This week, we are proud to recognize a martial artist who has demonstrated outstanding leadership from his very first day on the mat: Grant.

Grant is always willing to help others, is a fantastic team player, and has been committed to Black Belt Leadership since the beginning of his martial arts journey. His positive attitude and willingness to support his fellow students make him a great example for others to follow.

Recently, Grant faced an injury, but that hasn’t stopped him from continuing to learn and grow. His determination and perseverance have been truly inspiring. Last month, at the leadership seminar led by Master Rappold, Grant stepped onto the mat and volunteered to lead one of the drills, demonstrating confidence and leadership in action.

Thank you, Grant, for your dedication, resilience, and commitment to the martial arts. We are proud to have you as part of our martial arts family! 🥋⭐
