The recent North American Judo Championship was not only a competition for our athletes - it was also a true test of character.
No champion became a champion without first defeating themselves - their own laziness, fear, exhaustion, and desire to give up.
A setback is not a defeat. It does not break a strong-minded person; it makes them tougher and pushes them to work even harder. Every match reveals what needs improvement and how badly you truly want to win.

Congratulations to all our medalists! We expect every athlete to return to the tatami stronger, more determined, and ready for new victories!
Champions are shaped not only by their victories, but also by how they rise after every fall.

NEW SEPTEMBER SCHEDULE

Starting in September, our regular training schedule will be as shown above.

For our youngest beginner group (ages 5-7), we will be trying a special Parent & Child class on Saturdays from 10:00-11:00 AM.

Each child will participate together with one parent. This will be a trial program, giving parents a chance to train alongside their child and experience Judo together.

New schedule begins Monday August 31st!

These T-shirts were made especially for our “TRY SAMBO” Seminar with Islam Makhachev, and we still have a limited number available for sale.
All proceeds will help cover some of the travel expenses for a few of our athletes and their coach who will be representing the USA at the upcoming Youth & Junior Sambo World Championships in Thessaloniki, Greece.
These are one-of-a-kind T-shirts design was created specifically for this event and will not be reproduced again.

This past Monday, Yawara Force, together with Encoded MMA, USA Sambo, and FIAS - the International Sambo Federation, hosted our “TRY SAMBO” Seminar.
And we saved the biggest surprise for the end! 🔥
Our special guest was Islam Makhachev - one of the biggest and most recognized names in MMA today, 2016 Combat Sambo World Champion, UFC World Champion, and FIAS Sambo Ambassador.
For our young athletes, it was an unforgettable experience to meet an MMA legend in person and hear directly from him about SAMBO, sports, and the foundation that has helped him become a champion inside the UFC Octagon.
A truly special night for SAMBO and, most importantly, for the next generation! 🇺🇸🥋🌎
